I like to go hiking at the local parks, and always hated having to carry a water bottle around with me. This solved that problem! The backpack is comfortable and holds a good amount of water. Super pleased with this hydration pack, highly recommend it!

The bag is okay, lightweight and packs down. For the price is seems good enough quality but let’s see how many miles it lasts. 3.5/5

The bladder is not great. Most of the price of this item went to the bag. The tube is super stiff and doesn’t come apart so cleaning it is a pain. 1/5

Nice day pack with trail running style harness with hydration system included. The pack rode well when fully packed and the hydration system hung internally from two velcro attachment straps. The pack is well laid out with two zipper pockets for day hiking gear with adequate volume to not cause bulging , an external bungie cord criss/cross for attaching wet gear externally to dry and two side pockets that can hold water bottles if you choose not to use the hydration system. There are also large and deep elastic pockets on each shoulder strap that I use for snacks on the right pocket and cell phone on the left. The hydration bladder added a slight plastic taste to the water (which hopefully goes away after serveral wash cycles) and the bite valve worked OK and had a cover to prevent dirt from getting on the mouthpiece. The velcro attached black and white american flag patch was not used as I felt the coloring did not represent the american flag. That said, the loop velcro could be used for something like a DIY ID tag.

Decent pack but I would say it is for a grown man. My son is 5ft tall and the straps kept sliding off his shoulders while hiking even with the chest straps on. I don’t think the chest straps are properly positioned. He ended up using my husband’s spare pack.

I wanted this pack for an alternative to plastic bottles on rides. I have a fairly large chest (50″) and I was pleased the straps were plenty long enough to work with a padded riding jacket or a full chest protector comfortably. The chest straps aren’t stitched to the shoulder straps, but use clips on piping and don’t stay put very well, they find their own happy place. The material is a light nylon, so I’m not so sure how it will hold up in a crash, but at this price point it’s easily replaced. The bladder seems to be durable and so far leak free. The hose length is ideal, and the bite valve doesn’t leak even when it’s left open but is kind of tough to use. The taste is akin to drinking from a hot garden hose, but gets better after a good flush. Cleaning is straight forward if only used for water.

Overall this pack will work decently when out & about. I ordered it to replace an older pack and I have to say this one is definitely much lighter than my older one especially when the hydration pack is empty. I like the idea of both backpack & hydration tied into one unit. The pack has a variety of pockets, both zippered & non-zippered. Inside, there is a separate compartment for the hydration pack which is nice. Frees up space in the main compartment which can be used for other items. Nice reflective strips and the buckle system on the front. As for the hydration pack, I’m not a fan of the material. It is rather flimsy, not like what I’m used to. My older hydration pack had a seriously thick silicone bag, whereas this one is very thin. The bag is a nice size, 14-½” long, 6” wide. The tubing was a bit problematic as it arrives coiled and it is difficult to straighten, you really have to work it. The most annoying aspect is the cheap nylon fabric that encases the tubing on the hydration pack. It adds absolutely no benefit and is irritating. The material is slippery and it is sewn loosely around the tubing so it does not stay put. When you attempt to feed the tubing thru the strap hole on the pack it bunches up and gets caught. It does hold water well, no leakage as of yet. If you want something simple for hydration, this pack will work.

I think the bag works great but I really love the included hydration pack and I’ve been using that on the regular with my primary day pack. storage capacity appears to be on par with the listing and I didn’t have any problems with leakage although I don’t really know how easy it will be to clean as I’ve never owned one before. however I’m looking forward to finding out

This is a fantastic hydration pack for off-road mountain biking. I typically try to film my rides and so the extra room is great for camera. The hydration pack is inside of a sleeve in the main compartment and there is another relatively large compartment that I will put my GoPro and some of my audio in. I keep my gloves and maybe a spare shirt in the main compartment and I am not a bit worried that it will get wet because the water bladder is separated from this. It has two netted pockets on the shoulder straps. On one pocket, I put a battery pack for a GoPro camera While filming. The other pocket is great for a snack. There are two pockets on the side that would work well for walking poles, etc. I have not used those as of yet, but I can see where they would be a huge benefit to some. Not extremely crazy about the bite valve, but it is certainly not a dealbreaker. It also has a clip to hold the straw and a cover for the bite valve and straw. I am hoping that the plastic taste will disappear pretty quickly. I’ve used it several times and it has started to disappear, but that is pretty typical of most hydration packs. Fantastic price as I feel this pack is worth much more than what they are selling it for. Would definitely recommend as I use this one as my first choice, and I have some others that cost more that have been put to the back of the drawer.
