This bag is perfect! I think they really listened to customer reviews and updated the snaps, the new snaps even have a piece of leather on the inside for added strength. These bags are really well made, I’ve put 15 pounds of books in them going to school. The only improvement I could see them making is adding some kind of watertight flap at the opening maybe as seen on the old Vietnam era military but packs this would help keep water out and small items inside when you hit a bump, I’ve attached a photo as an example. As they are it’s best to put smaller items inside of a another bag that will not fly out of the opening.

The bag is beautiful! The tissue is good quality. And it stays well attached at my bike while cycling.
The only thing I don’t like much is that it is not very practical and quick to arrange and remove the bag from my bike.

After reading the only review for this particular floral COATED Canvas bag, I examined the photos in the listing as best I could and could tell they were not plastic as mentioned previously.
I love these bags, they are somewhat waterproof ( I wasn’t in the rain long, but all belongings were dry upon arrival), I can only imagine how heavy uncoated canvas would be and how long it would take to dry after a good ride in the rain.
I thought they would be bigger, but am happy that they are not. I was able to pack a decent amount of Groceries into them and use them daily to carry my Lunch bag and change of clothes for work (along with my Ulock and bike tools).
The inside of one bag has a smaller pocket to hold your phone, and the should strap comes in handy when removal is required as it can be worn as a purse.
The pattern is beautiful, Olive /Military Green with shades of Coral and White. I would say the current photos shown are 100% accurate.

I bought this for my wife’s new Priority Bike and she loves them. They are just the right size. She gets compliments often about them.

They fit on my rack nicely altho taking them on and off if full could be a challenge as Velcro straps need to be accessed by lifting pannier. They are probably best left on. They have flap snap closures which is also a bit awkward, should have been Velcro. They came out of the package with a very musty smell, stored in a damp spot? I am hoping over time and fresh air exposure that smell will disappear. It annoying! Otherwise they give my bike a nice feminine touch.

The good: great quality, new condition, nice peripherals (e.g. carry handles, detachable shoulder strap), everything as advertised. All attachment points and fastenings work well, and the little inside pocket is handy, too. And the colours even match my bike 🙂
The less-good: nothing unexpected, but it’s a little slow to get on and off my bike rack. Probably the clips that the picnic cooler bags have would be a little more convenient. Due to the sturdy full-cloth saddle between the bags, it’s also a bit hard to put anything on top of the rack now.

These Tourbon canvas saddle bags are solidly made and has a water resistant coating. Cute design that matches my Rad Powerbike beautifully. Attaches easily to the rear rack. My only reason for 4 stars is that the bottom attachment straps are not long enough to each through my rack to secure. However, the top straps work great and I’ve had no issues with movement.
Great capacity to carry a small haul of groceries or additional items. Going to purchase in black for my husbands Rad Powerbike. Definitely would recommend.

I just purchased my second, and my husband his third – We are going into our 4th year of daily bike commuting in NYC year round, rain or shine. We have these on all of our bikes. They are fantastic for look and function. The colors and heavy coated cotton canvas are great. It is nice to have a retro, stylish and non-plastic option. We love the subtle improvements Tourbon has introduced — buckle across each compartment (for extra full loads) and inner flat pocket (as for a wallet). These cover all our daily needs – work kit, lunch/coffee, packages for drop off, and room for a grocery hall on the way back home.
I leave one side rolled up most of the time. Husband prefers to distribute his items. It works perfectly either way. Great product and great brand!
I have one request for Tourbon: Please introduce a thin, lightweight/packable rain cover with its own pouch, tailored to fit these. We would buy three in a heartbeat. For 20 miles daily in rain or slushy/salty conditions, it would be helpful to have this option for further protection. In the meantime I use a rain cover designed for a single pannier or basket and keep my second side rolled up. I prefer to keep my pannier clean/dry on the exterior. Husband just tosses sensitive items in plastic bags inside his panniers as a precaution. Both systems work, but some kind of an expandable single/dual cover would be amazing, following the style/size!

Well-made. Fits perfectly on my Specialized bike and standard bike rack. Big enough for groceries/ a laptop bag. Plenty of foot clearance when pedaling.

An excellent match for the rad power bikes rear rack or any bike with a rear rack. They are high quality and take a serious beating. I now have them on several bikes. This is a fantastic product and has a great vintage look. Pick your color wisely. The tan shows dirt and grease marks with another bike is parked next to it and accidentally bumps the chain into the bag (happens a lot surprisingly). The black and green completely hide the dirt and grease and look new for a very long time. The tan also fades in the sun over 1+ year. I initially bought a black one and a tan one for our rad city bikes. the tan one looked beat and faded 1 year later and the black one still looks brand new. I just replaced the tired tan one with a green one and i’m now good for many years to come.
