I used to have the Nike black ones that cover all of your arms, and I do prefer these a lot more. They offer up a considerable amount more protection for your elbows and prevent me from getting court burn. They are also significantly harder to tear a hole in than the thinner unpadded black ones.

Daughter started competitive club volleyball 2 years ago and just this past season she started learning to dive. She would get multiple bruises from diving so we bought this elbow pad for her since we’ve heard and seen a lot of users. This has helped prevent our daughter from bruising her elbows bad and has helped provide her with confidence in diving knowing she’s protected and won’t get floor burns, scrapes, or bruises. It’s slim enough not to interfere with her passing. When we first got it, it was a bit tight and she would have to pull it down more when she served, but she’s worn it out enough for it to be comfortable.
The cushion is thick enough to provide support from when hitting the ground and sliding, but not too thick and bulky to interfere with playing. It’s short enough to be breathable but just like knee pads, it can get sweaty.

These are super durable and definitely worth a buy if you hit your elbows when diving. They take a couple uses to break in, but after that they fit just right. They’re lightweight, but still help protect you from floor burn. I would definitely recommend getting these for any volleyball player!

My daughter loves these. We originally started with sleeves with pads but my 12 year old daughter’s arms were too small. They are very durable and give her the comfort to dive more for the balls without hurting herself. Price is very comparable to other options. Will buy again for my other daughter!
