    The chain lube works very well if applied properly. It takes Three applications initially to get full penetration. Durability is very good and a lot easier than hot wax. I use it between applications of the hot wax. This allows me to do it on the bicycle without removing the chain.
    The stripper seemed to work well also although on my new chain, I still did it the old way with multiple bass of mineral spirits and denatured alcohol.

    This is a must have product if you wax. It cleans new chains easily and works just as well on old chains that were used with oil based lubes.

    Another great use is cleaning off chainrings and cassettes when switching a bike over to wax. It melts the grease right off in minutes and makes degreasing them a breeze.

    This product is well worth that money and makes chain waxing simple and saves tons of time and chemicals compared to the old ways of stripping chains

    I cleaned a brand new chain with the stripper. Then I treated it with the lube. It’s smooth and quiet.
    The main thing is that it really is as easy as they say it is.
    I watched their videos first and it made me more confident. If you think you might like it, try it and see.

    . Gravel roads: it did not deteriorate as rapidly as previous lube. (RocknRoll Gold)

    This product is supposed to be a liquid that easily spreads into the chain.

    It is either dried out or has been stored in too low temperature and the product has turned into a thick paste that is unusable for its intended application. It may still contain the necessary compounds but it has thickened so much it cannot penetrate into the chain links.

    I reached out to Silca and they say the product should be stored in a controlled temperature between 41-86F

    Products this sensitive to temperature should not be shipped by Amazon.

    At least the chain stripper seems unaffected and works surprisingly well.

    I’ve tried various chain lubes but this is just amazing. The chain stays clean, you can handle it without needing to degrease your hands after, it’s fantastic. Rides are dead silent and smooth.

    The only downside is that it requires somewhat regular wipe downs and reapplications. But let’s be real, we all love tinkering; if we didn’t, we’d just use the factory lube.

    BE SURE TO THOROUGHLY CLEAN YOUR CHAIN FIRST UNTIL THE CLEANER RUNS CLEAR!

    Chain is not nearly as clean and wax didn’t adhere nearly as well with the tried, true, and annoying multi-pass of white spirits and alcohol.
