I love this little kit. It’s compact and sturdy. I keep it in my handlebar bag on my bike at all times and it has come in handy multiple times already. I like this kit so much that I kept checking for it to come back in stock and as soon as it did I purchased it to gift to my brother who was excited to receive it.

I knew this tool was small, but upon opening the box, I didn’t realize it was THAT small. And it’s cute! And most importantly, it works. I used it to adjust my seat post; it worked just fine. Was able to use a lot of force to assure it was tight. Once you insert a bit into the tool, the bit won’t come out unless you pull back on the red bit holder, so no bits falling out.

    Areas for improvement:
    1) The tiny lever to switch “directions” seems flimsy.
    2) The hex bits are embossed with sizes (2,3,4,5,6,8), but the sizes for all but one bit (6) cannot be seen when the bits are in the holder because the numbers are in inconsistent places. The “6” is closer to the hex end of the bit; for the others, the number is close to the 1/4″ end, which is the end inside the holder. And to add to the sloppiness, the “6” is up-side down compared to the other numbers. To be fair, if I need a bit, I eye-ball the bolt and guess at the size needed. The actual number is not important to me.
    3) It’s pretty hard to remove the 2 and 3 hex bits from the holder because their diameters are so small that there’s nothing to grab onto. Wiggling them from side to side and pulling at the same time works with a little effort.

I’m giving 4 stars, with more weight given to cuteness, smallness, and general usability.

It feels like a quality tool. Not like a good tool, but a really good tool. If you have used good tools and you hold it in your hand, you will say “that’s some good ****”. That is the review.

    Pros:
    Excelentes materiales y acabados.

It’s nice, and unfortunately rare, to make a purchase of a product and get decent value. This tool is great. I didn’t like the idea of spending almost $25 for it, because there are so many bike multi-tools available for a lesser price on Amazon alone. But this tool is the real deal. Stainless steel bits, a quality mini ratchet and fine hard shelled case with netting and quality zipper. It’s the macro and micro details that matter. Steel feels familiar, it feels good, and you know it’s durable. There’s the macro. The micro is in the details like the design of the mesh netting, and for me a very big deal is zipper quality. I hate to have anything that opens and closes to have a cheap zipper that I’m bound to break, (especially on sleeping bags!). The zipper on the case seems good. If it breaks easy on me I’ll have to change my review to 4 stars! But overall, you get a nice little tool in a tight little package. I’ve only used it a couple of times so far, but I love it.

This is a great little ratchet. I’ve spent most of my life using tools so I know the difference between quality and junk tools. The ratchet has a smooth action and doesn’t skip teeth when under pressure. The fit and finish are excellent and it has a nice feel in the hand.

What I’m most impressed about is the customer service. About six months after buying it, one of the two screws that holds the mechanism together feel out and was lost. I contacted Pro Bike via email and got a response the same day. Tom said he was on vacation but would send me a replacement as soon as he got back. True tomhis word, I received and brand new ratchet in the mail. I’m very pleased. Thank you Pro Bike!!

I put this tool to use right after receiving it. It feels like a quality product that performs well. The size and weight are comparable to a standard multi tool but with easier operation. Note: This is not torque wrench, so be sure to secure bolts accurately with a torque if required. The case that stores the tool and bits is nice and compact. The only thing it doesn’t have that my current tool does, is a chain break tool. In 20 yrs, I’ve used a chain break tool twice. You can remove bits that you won’t use, thus lessening the weight even more. The only issue I had was I received two T30 bits and no T25 bits and the customer service was exceptional and quick to respond. I wound highly recommend this cool tool.

Au final ce kit est bien plus sympa qu’un multitool, le cliquet est un plus.

This product is great! It’s very well-made. The ratchet has a solid feel in the hand and the ratcheting mechanism is crisp and precise. The case is also sturdy, with a solid and rugged zipper. The case is a good size, being compact, yet allowing enough room to get the tool and bits inside without a struggle. It fits perfectly in a jersey pocket if you want to carry it there.

I bought another (more expensive) ratchet tool to carry on rides (Topeak Ratchet Rocket). I liked that one so much, I bought this one to keep in my shop. Functionally, the tools are very similar. This one is easier to use as the ratchet is a bit bigger and more ergonomic. It is a bit heavier, but that gives it a more solid feeling in the hand that makes it feel better to use and it isn’t so heavy that it would stop me from carrying it on rides. I own a lot of other folding multi-tools, but find that the ratcheting action makes it much easier, faster, and more convenient to use. The ratchet and extension hold the bits firmly to eliminate concerns of slipping or the bits falling out and getting lost.

Overall, this is a great, high-quality little ratchet. I also think it is a good deal for the price. I was so pleased with the quality, I purchased some other Pro Bike Tool products.

This little tool case is a solid addition to the things I always have in my handlebar bag. It is much smaller than I realized, but packs a lot of utility in there. The short shank fits comfortably in my hand, and I find it much easier to control than my longer torque wrench (also from Pro Bike and also with a great set of bits for the wrench, all packed in an attractive hard case). I was worried about the zipper on this little case, thinking it would be narrow and fragile. No need! The zipper is wide and sturdy and doesn’t get stuck (which leads to so many zippers breaking when you tug on it to get it out of a jam). All in all, an excellent member of Pro Bike’s team of tools and accessories. Would definitely recommend.
