I like the size and design of this bike rack and fender – After has been installed… But the materials and constuction are not very good. The main clamp that goes around the seat post is too big to properly secure the rack, the quick release lever of that clamp was malformed and did not actually lock into place and the materials used (aluminum) is too lightweight – the description says it can support up to 115 lbs, but when I received the rack it had a big sticker that says the maximum weight cannot exceed 63 lbs – but even that number seems inflated to me. The instruction manual is not useful but at least it is not difficult to figure out how to attach the rack to the bike. The fender is screwed to the rack, but it only attaches at a single point and is easy to knock out of alignment. It has a couple of plastic tabs to keep it aligned, but they are too loose and are pretty much useless.

Anyway – after fiddling around a lot to get everything to fit, the rack looks nice on the bike and the fender should be effective. However, everything is still easy to knock out of alignment so I’m not sure it will last very long or continue to work well after a few months of normal usage… At least the price was cheap.

Fits my e-bike very well. Seem sturdy. The quick release makes it easy to adjust if I lend my bike and have to adjust the seat. It was nice that all the too look a were included with the rack. I wish the place for the reflector were more universal it works well for the reflector provided but I would like a place to mount my light. But all in all a feet nice rack.

I’ve been using it for ~4 months. Upon arrival, it was missing a screw. Customer support couldn’t supply the needed screw so they sent me a replacement. After installing it, the rear reflector fell off the 1st time I rode the bike after installing the rack. I used the one from the original item I was returning and added scotch tape and it hasn’t fallen off yet (4 months). Overall, it is very well constructed except for the rear reflector design and the flimsy fender; the instructions are also lacking. I added a Lixada Bicycle Pannier Bag and have been carrying at least 50 lbs. without a problem ( reportedly carries 115 lbs.). With heavy weights the pannier bag may loosen from the rack and scrape the tire. I found a way to attach it securely eliminating this problem. I am very pleased with the rack’s utility and would recommend it highly in spite of the missing screw and the reflector falling off. It was well worth the money ($29.99 + tax).

Seems like a light weight, but sturdy rack however, the assembly and installation instructions just plain suck! Very hard to see the pictures clearly and written instructions are very vague. It also appears to have left out a step or two.

I liked how easy it was to install with the only downside being the brackets that hold onto the rear fork. They didn’t grab the frame at all though I know it’s just an issue with my bike, a 1973 Raleigh International. The seatpost clamp works perfectly though, so all’s well. I just need to adapt said clamps to the frame is all, but for the price I can’t complain

Easy to fit and adjust, price is right. Quick disconnects are nice for install & adjustments but it won’t come off quickly. The mud flap is weird but it was included and not required so no complaints. The straps aren’t really sufficient to hold many things down unless they’re in a bag or something, but I got this rack so I could attach panniers if I wanted.

Ridiculously complicated assembly and kind of rickety after it’s built

Didn’t follow the installation instructions because the product is very straightforward. I did have one of the arm come loose from the bike frame, but they give you a few rubber strips. I doubled them up on one latch and it has handled many curb hops and drops. I don’t know how they would perform for anything more drastic, but I’d have faith.

You can feel the additional weight added to the bike which is not a lot but noticeable. It’s a nice rack and the metal has given me no problems. Mounting and dismounting will take some getting used to. For the price I can’t complain it’s well made.
