    HERE IS A WARNING! Beware this camera only offers HEVC 265 video compression format! That means the videos it produces might look great on the camera monitors but do not play well on almost all computers and video editing software. Making them relatively unusable. Why DJI doesn’t offer optional h264 video compression, as it does on earlier models as well as their Pocket camera line is BEYOND UNDERSTANDING. It’s true that video h265 files can be converted to other formats using computer software but it’s a long and laborious process that ends up in most cases with a lower quality version. Maybe DJI will fix this with a firmware update. But for now, I have returned my Action 5 Pro and am purchasing an Action 4 camera that does offer the h264 or the h265 option. I love DJI products and own many. The Action 5 Pro would be a great camera but for this one flaw. Good Luck.

    I love this camera the super night mode is very impressive. With the new firmware updates this camera outperforms all other cameras the video quality is superb don’t hesitate buy this camera you won’t be disappointed.

    It definitely takes some beautiful stunning footage but the DJI mimo app absolutely ruins the experience. Even using a brand new Pixel 9 pro it’s barely usable and transferring 4k 120hz files is almost impossible if they exceed 10gb. If DJI isn’t going to make a decent app they should allow 3rd party apps. Seriously thinking about returning it for a GoPro.

    It is an amazing camera, really simple to use and great for every occasion. Took a trip to New York, takes amazing photos and videos. The low light capabilities really make it a much better option than the competitors camera. It records crystal clear under water.

    I purchased this coming from a GoPro Hero 9 Black. I use it for when I go on bike rides (both MTB and Paved).

    The longest ride I’ve done was about an hour and I still had a little over 40% battery left. File size really isn’t an issue with what I use it for.

    I know some people were upset about the bitrate and recently 10/20/2024 they released an update to up the bitrate. I haven’t shot on it yet since then but currently I shoot in the LOG quality and apply their LUT (downloaded from DJI) in post using DaVinci Resolve.

    I’ve really enjoyed it for what I do.

    Absolutely amazing camera!! Huge upgrade from the Osmo Action 4. The low light is amazing and the on board audio quality has greatly improved! DJI has offered reliable and amazing cameras for a long time. And they have been much more reliable than GoPro for many years.

    My only gripe, is not with DJI. But with Amazon. It was out for delivery. Six stops away. And for some reason the delivery was not completed. So it had to wait for the next day. The initial customer service person assured me that it would be delivered that night. It didn’t sound right as tracking showed it having suddenly arrived back at the distribution facility. So the second person confirmed it would not arrive until the following day.

    I bought this because of it’s ability to have Subject tracking like that of the Pocket 3. The Low Light Performance to me is better then that of the GoPro and smaller. Nice OLED Dual Touch Screens make this an AMAZING Action Cam as I’ve made a few YouTube Videos on this myself
