    Dommage

I’m one of these people who keeps their bike immaculate. If I’m going to spend close on £1k on a bike, then it’s going to stay clean! Keeping the drivetrain clean was always a pain. I’d be out with brushes, WD40, degreaser, soapy water etc after every ride, then re-lube with regular (but decent!) bike oil. Just a couple of short rides later and it would all be black and grimey again. I saw this stuff, read the reviews, and had to give it a go.

It’s a wax based lubricant in a paraffin (or similar) suspension, so it drips onto your chain easily (no real waste if you’re careful) and then the liquid evaporates and leaves a nice wax lube over everything – mostly clear, only shows as white in some areas where its thicker.

It feels smoother to ride than ever before – quieter and shifting beautifully. But the best bit, you get home and the drivetrain still looks clean! It still picks up a bit of dirt of course, but no-where near as much as before and according to other reviews, this dirt should shed itself over time, essentially self-cleaning…time will tell.

    Very pleased!

This is my kind of “Gold Standard” of bike oil, I use it on both my trail bike and my commuting bike. Well, basically it’s oil, there’s not too much to say but this particular oil keeps chains, cassettes and chain jockeys CLEANER. Notice how I said CLEANER not IMMACULATE, you will still need to actually clean the drivetrain of your bike every so often but much less while regulary using this oil I’ve found. This sheds and keeps dust and crap off the chain much better than your regular household oil such as 3-in-one, in fact 3-in-one is like glue compared to Clean Ride. However this doesn’t come at a price, you have to apply this at least once a week for a commuting bike, twice if you are commuting more than 50 miles a week. I would apply this after each ride out to the trails. You will also have to reapply if it rains on your bike because this isn’t very moisture resistant. Overall a good general purpose bike oil, I would definitely recommend it if you don’t need something wet weather specific or don’t mind applying it at least once a week.

I’ve been using this product for many years. In a way, that makes me a bad reviewer because I don’t have much basis for comparison. But I have been very happy with this. I got into this product when I was a bike commuter. When you have to be at work at 8, you can’t afford to have a greasy, black bike chain and spend 10 minutes cleaning your hands before work because your chain fell off or you had a flat. With white lightening, I could have a rear wheel flat without the additional aggravation of having to scrub at the office. Do you have to apply this more often than oily lubes? Yes, but you don’t’ care because it isn’t messy? Does it lube well? It’s great. Do I recommend it? you bet.

Keep in mind that I live in an area with very little rainfall. If it rained buckets, I might have a different opinion of the product. I just don’t know.

Product works great. Probably similar to other dry chain lubes but I like this one more becuase the bottle is clear and it’s easy to see if you properly suspended the solids before application. Suspending solids is important because product is a teflon powder in a thin solvent and product settles quickly. It needs to be re-suspended before use and clear bottle helps me see how well telfon is dispersed. Also this product is much better than aerosol spray lube because product goes exactly where intended instead of spraying on the floor.

Use the product to lubricate the chain and gears on a gravel bike. Product works well but would be better as a spray to make it easier to apply and also to use less product.

We go camping in really dusty, desert conditions and this stuff saved my zippers. I used it on my boot zippers and the tent zippers. Huge impact 👍

I use this on all the gears and belts on my expensive Rc electric helicopters and it stops the normal gear wear and belt wear in unbelievable ways.
