Just tested out mounting today…..much easier to fit to saddle rails than comparable Zefal (straps were longer to work with) and clips/straps seemed much meatier than Zefal….but NOT yet used on trail so we’ll have to see if either outperforms in the real mtb worl. I’d vote for the Topeak at this point though….

I used this on a four day cycling trip in Florida. I carried all my clothes including some stuff in case of rain. I was just able to fit everything in so one needs to be strict about one’s packing list. The bag mounts well with plenty of wheel clearance but is prone to wobbling, especially when you get out of the saddle. All in all, given the price, I think it is a pretty good bag.

Easy to install on any bike. With the waterproof inner bag, riding in the rain is not a problem.
Can be compressed if you do not need the full 15 l capacity. As long as you do not pack it with heavy stuff does not affect the bike handling.

Great components! I felt the quality of this bag pulling it out of the box! Lots of roo., easy to mount.
We had to return it because it didn’t fit on out road bikes. (We have 700c tires and ride 51 cm frames, so we didn’t have the clearance.)

I procrastinated on getting ready for a bike packing trip and bought this last-minute. It worked flawlessly. 350 miles of rough trails, a full 24 hours of rain, and more pot holes than I can count. No issues whatsoever. My stuff stayed dry and secured the whole time.

Bag has been perfect. Holds a ton of stuff, the separate compression sack is a great design choice. Doesn’t sway or move once properly cinched down. I’ve only used it for short overnight trips thus far but I would absolutely trust it for longer outings. And it looks great.

So the good:
1 – Nice size. Expandable and locks down well.
2 – Fits nicely on my seat, I bit tricky getting on and off, but no big deal
3 – It is water proof, IF you use the water proof bag that comes with it.
The no so good:
1 – Related to #3 above, If you want water proofiness then you have to load everything into the water proof bag that comes with it. This is fine except the bag takes a bit of space, so you have less storage. I am not convinced that this method offers anything above a well made welded pvc bag. Also, because of the bulkiest of the provided bag, I just used some water proof plastic bags.
