I rarely leave reviews but after reading feedback on competitor’s products I thought it would be worth leaving a few positive words about these training wheels.
My 2 kids outgrew their 16 in bikes and are still learning to balance, finding a set of trainers that fit a 20 in bike was my top priority.
These trainers are made of strong metal, I’m not concerned they will bend (unlike comments left on other products).
Installation was not overly difficult, though I do recommend using a socket driver or an appropriately size crescent wrench held sideways to hold the bolt when tightening the lock nut as a screwdriver likely to strip the bolt or not provide enough torque to tighten the lock nut.

I originally purchased a different set of training wheels for my son’s 20″ Huffy bike. Because of the way the metal frame portion of the training wheels was manufactured, with the hollow portion facing the bike, they did not work as it was impossible to screw the nut head on with the limited thread remaining.

This pair of Schwinn training wheels has the hollow portion facing away from the frame, so there is enough room to screw the nut onto the thread.

It works perfectly on a boys 20″ Huffy bike.

We have an autistic grand daughter that needed training wheels for a Barbie series bike we bought her.
I did my research and realized that there are many cheap no name options and most have questionable reviews.
I grew up with Schwinn products and have always had great experiences.
    So, I ordered this kit.
It took some work to get everything to fit correctly but that was not the fault of this kit.
I would liked to have seen an instruction pamphlet included so I knew exactly where each nut, bolt and washer went.
I had to wing it but wasn’t to terrible because I used to assemble bikes in my younger years.
The only potential issue I can see anyone having with this kit is if there rear wheel studs don’t have enough bolt thread sticking out to catch. Ours barely did on the left side. Again, that isn’t the fault of this kit.
Those side support brackets that come with this kit are very important to keep the training wheel from slipping out of position.
Will update if we have any issues.

They do the job but are a little cheap. Not a heavy duty training wheel.

I was worried after reading some reviews, but these attached very easily to a Schwinn 20 inch bike. We have been on so many long bike rides and they are holding up fine. The wheels are plastic, so I imagine they will eventually wear down, but training wheels aren’t needed for long and these are a great value for the price. I have a very happy grandson!

I bought these for my daughter’s Schwinn bike thinking these would work best being the same manufacturer. The directions are minimal, lacking proper instructions to put together, especially if one isn’t used to working with bikes. I was able to put one support bar on one side, the other side wouldn’t fit. There wasn’t enough room for the nut to fasten on. Even with everything tightened to the max it still loosens incredibly fast and you better have your wrench on you while the kiddo is biking because they will bend backwards quickly causing a difficult ride.

I was hopeful of this product after reading all the reviews and I’m having my partner take a look to see if we can try to reinstall them, if anything changes I will come back and update my review. For now I give it one star because of the difficult installation, cheap wheel material (which got tore up on the first go), the pieces not fitting correctly for the bike that matched the requirements (from the same manufacturer) and the constant need to tighten and adjust.

I bought these for a 20” bike that I got for my grandson. He’s timid about learning to ride a bike and wanted training wheels. These are described as being for bikes up to 20” but unfortunately they didn’t reach the ground, therefore he didn’t feel safe and he wouldn’t use the bike.
