We love these. They’re great for keeping our phones handy when we ride and keep the phones dry if it’s raining. Also nice storage for gadgets when we’re out riding

After 40+ mile of use I can give an informed opinion now. In no particular order…

-I have a 30+ year old bike and needed something universal fitting that complimented my 30+ year old tail bag (is it a law that everything needs to have “extreme” styling now that makes it look like it came off an alien spaceship?). This bag has no flashy decorations, no pinstripes, no skulls, nothing except reflective piping. Even the logo is muted. Perfect!

-The two Velcro straps on the bottom grip my top bar securely and stays centered by the Velcro strap on the fork well. The straps have a generous length and I found I needed to cut them. If you do, cut them long enough so that the end is tucked away between the frame and the bag, to prevent unrolling. The bag sometimes shifts due to the load creating an off-center balance but not my much, maybe a half inch or so. Big whoop.

-The top bag’s touch screen membrane on the upper flap is definitely smartphone friendly. I have an older Galaxy S5 in a case so if it works for my phone it will work with yours. The flap has attached adjustable Velcro halves that close snugly around whatever you put there, so you can put anything you want there from a smartphone to a solar charger. Yes, even solar chargers work inside it. This bag is renewable energy compatible!

-The rear of the bag has a tiny self sealing slit for earphone cables which to me is unnecessary. It’s the 21st century, people. Use Bluetooth earbuds (keep one ear free for situational awareness, though). In case you wanted to know, Bluetooth gadgets work perfectly fine in this bag. Keep them charged with a solar charger mounted on the top, and when charged, swap it out with a smartphone loaded with music. But, that’s just how I ride.

-As I pedal, my knees can and will occasionally bump up against the bag. This is a trivial thing and is easily overlooked when you’re on the trail. The bag only creates maybe two inches of girth on either side but the luggage carrying capability more than makes up for it.

-On my rides I am able to fit EVERYTHING in my pockets- cell phone, keys, wallet, change, pocket knife, solar charger and Bluetooth earbuds- into this bag so that I don’t have gear banging around in my pockets while I pedal. When I put the bike away it stores my riding gloves so I’ll always know where they are. One glove or the other always seems to wander off somewhere when I’m not looking.

-From the pics the bag looks like it’s just a thin plastic box, but inside the box it has soft padded lining to cushion any impact. It won’t protect the contents from a hammer, but it will cushion the fall should you accidentally drop the bike.

-With the bag mounted I can no longer use the strap on my bike carrier to strap the bike’s front section down. I find I need to thread the carrier’s strap in between the bag and the frame, but the bag is flexible enough to allow it.

-When the bag is stuffed full the zippers can be difficult to close sometimes. That has more to do with the bag being distorted from being over stuffed than any problem with the zipper. Readjust the bag contents and the problem goes away.

-Much has been said about the bag’s waterproof-ness by others. I can’t comment on that since I don’t ride in downpours, but I can definitely say it is a lot more water resistant than any bag made of woven material (like my 30+ year old tail bag) because it’s a solid panel. I don’t care what the advertisements say about a product being waterproof- if it’s a woven fabric, if you leave it out in the rain it will eventually leak. If you typically ride in the rain, 90% of bags won’t be for you, including this one. Get an Otter box instead.

All in all a great little bag that fits my loyal 30+ year old stallion perfectly. There may be more expensive bags out there but that doesn’t mean it will be a better bag than this one. At this price you won’t feel too bad about swapping it out if you do find a better bag later.

The product is of excellent quality which makes it worth the price asked for.
The velcro straps stay firm and don’t loose grip keeping the case stable. Even the inner velcro flap that holds the phone is great. I forgot to zip up the case once and even after 2 hours of cycling the phone thankfully was held firm by the flap and didn’t fall out.
The zipper also is excellent. Cycled through 5 minutes of moderate downpour once and not a drop went inside keeping the phone absolutely dry.

I’ve got to say, the ROCKBROS Bike Phone Front Frame Bag is a game-changer! After a year of my son taking it through its paces, it’s passed with flying colors. It’s become a reliable and tough piece of gear, which has our seal of approval.

The bag is like a portable treasure chest for cyclists. It’s roomy enough for a phone, keys, and wallet, without feeling cramped. The touch-screen pocket is a real win, making it easy for my son to use his phone on the go, which was a major game-changer on our rides.

What’s really cool about this bag is the design. It’s got this stealthy earphone hole for music or calls, and safety features like reflective tapes that make it easier to spot in the dark. And the zipper pulls are a breeze to use, even with gloves on! Despite facing all the elements, it’s stayed strong and dry, all thanks to the waterproof fabric and tight-sealing zippers.

And talk about easy to install – the three straps make attaching and removing the bag a piece of cake, ensuring the bag stays put on any type of ride. But what impressed me the most is how ROCKBROS handled our issue when a zipper broke. They were quick to send us a replacement, no fuss, no hassle!

To wrap it up, the ROCKBROS Bike Phone Front Frame Bag isn’t just a good product, it’s a great one. The blend of quality, versatility, and top-notch customer service has won us over. A year in, and we’re more than happy to recommend it to any cyclists out there. Try it – you won’t be disappointed!

I like that this product was able to hold patch kits, a bike pump, keys, wallet and a phone with extra space to spare. It’s easy to mount to the bike and seems pretty sturdy so far. Downside is that the screencover came pre-scratched. There wasnt any tag when it arrived, just the paper label inside the screencover. Seems like a returned item but maybe the company doesnt add more labeling, tags or silicone packs to their products. It made me wish I bought one without the screen feature so we wouldnt have to deal with scratched screens covers. I would say the value went down with the damaged screen cover. Taking off 2 stars for it being damaged. Too pricey for a damaged product.

I like this more than expected. I read some reviews of scratching the frame, but I usually place some tape (electrical) over the frame for protection. All straps were overly long and needed trimmed, but I appreciate the length to allow for most scenarios. Build quality was very nice, and it does not touch my knees when riding. It holds my iphone easily and the touch screen works perfect through the plastic.
I like that I can fit the essentials, a spare tube, tire levers, zip ties, multi tool, CO2 inflator.
I have only used a few weeks so unsure of longevity, but so far I would easily buy again.

Really good product if you can actually get one that isn’t crushed or bent in shipping. They send them in bags and it often doesn’t go well. The hard plastic visor part gets permanently creased and the bag part’s shape gets messed up and hard to recover from. Bought two, sent one back and replacement was marginally better so batting about .300… otherwise the product is a good design and useful, easy to see and interact with phone screen, room for other things and two inside netted areas.
