Tested it yesterday on some bumpy trails in the state park and it stayed in place as it should. It was loaded with tires tools, wallet, and some misc. The bag retained its formed shape even with the divider removed.

I’ve enjoyed this little pouch, its the perfect size for all your small necessities like your phone, keys, wallet and little snacks. The velcro ties are surprisingly strong and I’ve had no issues with anything sliding. The only thing I don’t really like about it is the mesh pouch on the side because the only thing that would realistically fit are cash and cards – which I wouldn’t trust putting in there as there is no way to close it. Overall, a really solid purchase!

One of the zippers failed after a few uses. Poor quality. Not durable. Product support tab on Amazon leads you to Rockbros website and when you visit rockbros website it says no support offered to products bought from Amazon. Go figure.

Medium size purchased. I was skeptical at first, but after numerous mountain bike outings in the Arizona desert this top tube bag has kept its end of the bargain. With the straps cinched down tightly, the bag does not shift around laterally much, if at all. It has enough room for my cell phone, ID, maps and protein bars (the design is best suited for flattish items – tubes and tools go in the saddle bag). I’ve not yet found a use the small, outer mesh sleeve but maybe a laminated business card could hang out in there, permanently. Not sure how well the bag would perform in the rain, and I’ve no desire to head out during monsoon season to find out.
I’m glad I purchased the Medium size – I can imagine the slightly larger width of the Large size bag being a nuisance when peddling as well as being more prone to shifting around on the top tube, particularly if loaded with more/heavier items.

PROS:
– fits securely on the top of the tube. Might slide just a little left or right while riding, but a quick push is all it takes to center it
– Holds a good amount of items. My phone and phone size power bank drop in easily and fit without issue in the taller side of the bag
– the internal divider is a solid piece (so it would at the least, mostly protect your phone screen etc from anything on the other side). Divider is removable or can be adjusted to make one side smaller or larger as it is velcro’d in
– It takes seconds to put the bag on your frame securely or remove it
CONS:
– it says waterproof (and I have no reason to believe it isn’t), but there’s no material over or under the zipper?
– the divider between the two sides is velcro’d in and the cut very exact to size – so it’s a little hard to move/remove
– it comes with 3 different length velcro straps to fasten the bag on your bike. All three pretty much need to be cut to size
– the side pocket is pretty loose so be careful what you put in there. It may seem secure when you start riding, but I have lost items like gel packets
(purchased a size Medium)

I managed to cram a lot of stuff there for my e-bike build (controller, screen, various cables). I sure hope the zipper holds for a long time!

Bought a week ago and on my third ride, the front strap stripped. Also, I found the bag bit wide and it would touch my knee causing my knee a rash while riding with shorts. If you have a big knee or leg, you may want to opt for a narrower bag.
I really want to like this bag. I do. It is spacious and it seems it is durable on the rain, but I can’t give a good review if the product fails within a week.

Unusual strapping.

[UPDATE] Rockbros reached out to me and sent me a replacement that is working well so far. I appreciated their prompt response and that they stand behind the product. I never did find my keys, but is partly on me for not paying more attention. Things break sometimes and the best you can hope for is that a company will replace what broke.
———-[original review]—————
The zipper broke mid ride, my keys fell out, and I have no idea where on my ride this occurred. This is incredibly frustrating and I have only had this bag for about 6 months, this shouldn’t be happening.
— fingers crossed I can backtrack and find my keys tomorrow.

Great price, good quality. Two waterproof pockets. Great to hold your phone and personal stuff, like keys etc.

I needed an additional bag for MG100 because my dropper post doesn’t allow for a seat bag. This on was up front and carried my phone and snacks. Phone was tight but worked. Bag did great!

I have used the bag for a daily commute since August 23. It worked well and fit all the essentials, plus the phone. However, the zippers are flimsy. One handler broke off early, and then the other zip just gave up in March 24 and opened up completely, making the bag useless. If it is meant to last 7 months, then it is a good bag. Otherwise, I would look for something with better zippers.
