Great, great, great enhancement to my 1980’s road bike. Many bolt-on accessories end up not fitting my bike with its outdated frame style. Especially the back racks that attach to the rear axle. This one allowed a great deal of flexibility and resulted in a very secure rear rack base! It actually came a lot more assembled than I’d expected, with instructions that included high quality photos of the step-by-step process (although most of it was intuitive). Also included was a double bungee cord with hooks that perfectly fit the tubular supports of the rack so you can attach whatever create, pannier, or cargo you’re hauling. There are also plenty of ways you can attach something to the frame more permanently than a bungee cord.

I spent an hour or so getting this attached to my bike which previously only had a front basket, not enough for regular shopping. At first I was overwhelmed, but I was able to put this onto my bike with only the tools included. One flaw is the included reflector did fall off. I glued it back, so no big deal, but a little disappointing that it fell off so easily. That said, I don’t feel like the rest of it is going anywhere without me forcing it to. Basket is not included, just attached to it.

This rack came in neatly organized protective packaging with really good instructions. Overall, the materials and build-quality seem great. Even the included bungee cargo strap seems sturdy. My only complaints are about the design.
First, and this is somewhat minor, the quick release for the seat-post clamp uses a bolt that is so long that it prevents the quick release from, well, releasing. If you look at my photos, imagine trying to pivot the quick release to open the clamp – the end of the bolt hits the seat clamp body and prevents it from pivoting far enough to actually open the clamp. Fortunately, you’re not really going to be taking this rack on and off frequently, so once I got past this, it’s no longer an issue. You just need to unscrew the quick release really far out, open it, put it around the post and then screw it back down.
The more serious design problem is with the side supports that are meant to extend down to the seat stays. I’m installing this on a Giant Boulder SE (see photo) and the side supports are too long (also see photo). This bike is ridden by my son, who’s 5’7″ and this is an adult-sized bike. And this is with the side supports completely retracted. I can almost get it to fit with the rack positioned really far back, but at that point there’s not much of the seat-mounted tube supporting it. This may just work better for something with more of a road-bike frame geometry.

I got this rack for my commuter bike so I could fit bike bags on the back and fit all my things instead of carrying them in a backpack. The instructions were clear and it was easy to install on my Surly Karate Monkey large frame bike. It is very strong and distributes the weight on multiple points, and it has a frame that keeps saddle bags from flopping into the back tire. I like that it comes with a bungee to tie down items if needed. This is highly adjustable so can fit on multiple size bike frames and styles. I am very happy with this rack.

Needed to add a bike rack to my new ebike, and preferably wanted something that DIDN’T connect to the seat post, as I move my seat around quite a bit. However, I ended up grabbing a cheap dropper post and throwing it on, and there was enough space between the bike frame and the top of the dropper post neck for a bike rack like this to fit, so I ended up grabbing it. It comes completely disassembled, so you’ll need to put it together yourself. It’s pretty easy to install, although doing it with the bike leaning over on the kickstand was a bit of a pain, so I recommend doing it on a bike stand if you have one. Looks wise, I’m not a huge fan of the metal “wings” on it (presumably to attach side bags/keep them from hitting your wheels), but that’s not a huge deal. It’s built plenty sturdy for a small rear bike bag, or to strap up some smaller items onto the rack. It says it’s a large capacity, but it’s noticeably smaller than some of the factory racks on my other bikes. Once everything is connected and tightened up, it felt pretty sturdy, and would probably hold the rated weight of 60lbs (although having that much weight on the rear of the bike may be a bit hard to control at times). Overall, super impressed with this, and would definitely grab a second one if I needed it.

I got this to go on my “hybrid” style bike for the occasional trip to the farmer’s market or the park. I’m not a hard core bicyclist by any means, but a rack can be pretty handy to have. The rack even comes with a pretty nice elastic strap that isn’t even mentioned in the product page.
The instructions were not worded flawlessly, but they were easy enough to follow. Although made in China, the instructions were in English and German, which I thought was a bit of an unusual combination. Install took about 15 minutes, including all the adjustments and airing my my flat tires.
There are a ton of adjustments on this thing to fit just about any bike, regardless of the geometry. The support legs are adjustable for length and angle, the top support is adjustable for distance from the seat post, and even the attachments to the seat stays are adjustable for angle and diameter of the stay. I felt that this was a very clever design to allow adjustment to fit just about anything out there. The pic shows the finished product (minus the reflector that I forgot to put on). I think I could go with a steeper angle on the support bars and maybe move the top back, but that’s the beauty of the design, there’s just so much adjustment built in that you can set it up any way you like.

I wish the rack support posts that attach to the rear triangle could be shorter. In the pic, they are shrunk all the way down, and I had to mount it a bit higher and a bit further back than I would ideally want on my 18″ frame.
Other than that, the rack seems well built, installed easily, and had good directions.
