I use this bike stand for storage in my garage. Makes maintenance items so much easier now that I have it. I have an older two leg base stand and this one with 3 legs is definitely more sturdy. Only drawback is it takes up a touch more floor space. Assembly is fairly easy and stowing for storage or transport is easy as well.

Using with my Specialized Stumpjumper. I cannot get the clamping mechanism tight while holding the bike with my hand about 2 feet off the ground. I have to attach the clamp to the seat post and tighten as much as I can, then lift the bike into the clamp receptacle. Works fine then. Sure made my last maintenance (wash and lube) easier to perform than with the wheels on the ground. Only had one time where the stand with the bike started to topple, but I may not have had the legs positioned in optimal position.

Had a ULTIMATE for 30 years that finally gave out. Used a FEEDBACK SPORTS model for the last year supporting Racers almost every weekend. Feedback was a little heavy and I didn’t like the head so much.
Decided on PARK because I do like the head better and it is lighter than the FEEDBACK but not as light as the Ultimate. Folds up like the pictures say but not as small as the FEEDBACK model. I am more about the weight than compactness since I have to carry this and a rucksack full of tools.

I have to say I was very surprised at the build quality of this work stand.
I have absolutely no buyers remorse.

Lives up to the quality that is typical for Park Tool. This stand supports my heaviest bikes, for both maintenance and cleaning. I lived for a long time without a stand, but this makes everything so much easier. Everything operates smoothly and engages firmly. Good build quality.

Received mine yesterday, upon opening it was clear that the one I received had been previously received: there was some slight damage on the inside of the box, found an empty plastic bags that I think had previously contained the leg attachments, and the unit had been partially assembled.
Other than some slight rust on the threads of the smaller screws everything seemed in decent enough shape that it was no big deal to me.
In going through the parts again, it looks like one of the provided nuts is different than the other 5, indicating something else fishy about this unit. Seems like the original 6th nut ended up somewhere else and got replaced by a larger one.
Unfortunately, the package was missing the 6 washers which is pretty annoying. Definitely not happy about dropping $430 on a “brand new” unit that is missing items that cost no more than a few dollars.
