    Price was quite expensive in my opinion once receiving the item it feels like a flimsy plastic and sometimes using it taking out the Gopro it feels like it was gonna break or snap apart. Overall it works and the way i want it to. The microphone questionable compared to raw audio

    What can I say, you already know this is a perfect addition to your Go Pro camera if you have one. The onboard Go Pro mic is OK but this media mod cranks it up a notch. It allowed me to connect any external microphone and also an external monitor for all my filming needs. You can also add a battery source for extended filming needs. Super easy to connect by removing the Go Pro battery hatch door. Also has a nice slip-on windscreen for better outdoor audio. I pretty much leave the Media Mod on all the time. And a bonus that on Amazon it was a better price than my local camera store or retail supplier.

    If you ride, this is a must! I use it for my vlogs and funny videos and it’s hilarious! Really love the content and how easy it is to use. Get an external mic as well!! I would recommend that as well!!

    Super cool mod works with my GoPro 12 I use for a webcam for my gaming PC set up. It’s really nice to have because you can use it for other recordings of outtings whatever it is. The mic on it sounds I’d say better in that it sounds more like it’s trying to be a little like a dynamic Mic. I just like the ability to maximize my recordings it’s super easy to use and you can fit it on easily just open it and slip it in..Giggity.

    The Media Mod is a game changer for your GoPro period.
    If you’re wearing the camera and trying to get good audio, especially outdoors in less than ideal circumstances, this is a no brainer.

    Its adds a number of functions to the camera that aren’t first apparent.
    1. Virtually illuminates wind noise, especially when combined with the built wind reduction in camera. No deadbeats or any other wind reduction feature needed.
    2. Adds the ability to plug in external Mics via the 3.5mm Mic jack and wireless systems like the DJI Mic 2 or RODE wireless for example.
    3. Lets you choose between the front Mic or the Back Mic depending on your vlogging direction.
    4. Adds a rugged outer case to the camera for more protection in rough terrain.
    5. You can power the camera via the USB-C port for longer shoots, streaming setups.
    6. You can use the HDMI port to connect to TV and external monitors.

    Its definitely the best sounding microphone for the GoPro I’ve ever used and the ability to add pro quality Mics vis the Mic input is a game changer.

    Me preocupaban algunas opiniones que advertían que el módulo llegaba sin la esponja del micrófono. No fue mi caso. La caja sí llegó algo maltratada pero la versión que compré era de remate de almacén y se avisaba sobre ello. Pero en el contenido todo estaba completo, impecable, sin ningún daño y funciona a la perfección.
