I really like this light for my mountain bike. It’s super easy to install (just pull the strap tight enough so it doesn’t move, as mine flopped down the first day I installed it and went for a ride). It looks very nice and sleek. I like that you can charge it via USB, and it charges quickly. The battery also lasts long! I haven’t had to recharge it yet after using it a week. I like that it has various modes (high, med, low, blinking fast/slow/flashing, etc.). I use it on High setting because I don’t think the other modes are bright enough to see far enough ahead of me if it’s dark. I rode 3 1/2 hours last weekend and it ran into dusk. I was in a heavily wooded area. When I turned the light on, the default first setting of High was just enough light to see about 5 ft in front of me. Farther than that it was not lit enough, so I had to slow down a bit so I didn’t hit a rock or something. Overall, I’m happy with this light, as I’ll probably use it more just to be seen (rather than to see in the dark), since I don’t usually ride at night. But if you want a really bright light, look for one with more power.

I bought these for my mountain bike about a year ago and they work quite well. The front light is very potent in the dark, even on the lowest setting. The red back light is great too, though I only always use the second mode. The back light can also be adjusted to go vertically or horizontally as needed. Both lights are easy to place and remove thanks to the rubber straps on them, and have gone through rain just fine.

I had received the product as scheduled and after 4 weeks the light died on me and could not switched off. When we opened the lights they were full of rust. This order was delivered by a reseller from China. I placed another order and I received it from India. Please note that the picture on amazon does not match the actual packaging which created a lot of problems when communicating with GearLight. These lights are the most expensive positioning lights I have purchased but they died miserably full of rust but Gearlight issued a refund …no questions asked. I am a long distance runner and I must have reliable lights. Hopefully the one from the reseller based in India are a bit better

Second update 2/8/19: I unexpectedly received a replacement set of lights from GearLight. They included a MUCH longer screwdriver. Nice suprise, but I was still skeptical. The screwdriver worked with the replacement lights, but I didn’t know if they’d hand-picked a light set to send.

But I had one light left from my original set, and the screwdriver worked well with that. I took the back all the way off and put it back on to be sure the whole process would work and it did. (One review talked about the clip being an issue, but it wasn’t at all.)

So, IF the new screwdriver style is included, I’d definitely give these a five star rating. They’re super bright and the two flashing options make me much more comfortable that my dog and I will be seen when walking on dark streets.

Update 1/12/19: I’ve had these a little less than four months and the batteries are now dead. I tried to change them with the screw driver included and the screws simply won’t turn. Tried a different screw driver with a longer handle, pushing hard while turning, etc., but still no luck. So basically these are over-priced throwaways,

    prior review:
These are under an ounce each, but nice and bright for being seen while running or walking in the dark. The clips grip well and are easy to use.

Each light is 2 1/4 inches high and comes with its battery installed, but you get four extra batteries too. I like having a choice of steady light, slow flash and fast flash (but I probably won’t use the fast one).

I walk or run my dog twice a day, plus take runs without him. There are no sidewalks in my sub, so visibility is extra important. I have a reflective vest, and so does my dog, but I feel a lot safer with two of these on each of us!

I don’t normally order things on Amazon that only have a few reviews, but these were cheap enough that I thought I’d give them a try. Glad I did!

The headlights are quite strong and the battery life seems great but the strap attaching to the handle bar broke and within a month! I’d request the suppler to send me a replacement if possible as without it the headlight is of no use! Thanks

Got this as a secondary light for night cycling riding. Adds additional lighting to my main light source. Good value for the money

These are very bright with several settings to save battery power and increase visibility. Well designed, easy to use attachments. Takes only seconds to stretch the strap, to attach or detach. Very stable. Good quality and not too expensive.

Use them when we take the kids out in the park for biking. The lights indicate when the kids are when it is dark. So we don’t have to worry about losing them in the wood.

These seemed expensive at first, but after receiving them I realized they were built very well. The LEDs are very bright and should last a long time, and the units, including the clips, are very sturdy. They also come with good quality Velcro straps to fasten to bikes, strollers, etc. Recommended.

These are wonderful bike lights. Very bright and reliable. I have bought two sets now and after about two years of use, they still carry a charge for about three hours! Highly recommend them.
