This stand replaces my old bike repair stand which is the one found all over that is advertised as holding 110lbs. Right out of the box, it is ready to go. Zero assembly required.
The other stand has two legs, while this one has three. Which means the bike can spin on the stand without tipping over. My garage space becomes limited depending on the amount of projects I have going on at any given time. So sometimes, I would have to turn the whole bike stand with the bike on it so they wouldn’t tip over. The legs on these also deploy smoother and when folded, they don’t flop like the two leg stand. And the feet also stay on.
The cheaper stand has a handle that you simply unlock, adjust the angle and lock.
On this one, the handle spins out, adjusts angle and spin back in.
The cheaper one is indexed, while this one holds by clamping force.
But this one also fully disengages and allows for folding the clamping bar.
The clamp also has a full sleeve of rubber that protects the frame while the other stand only had rubber caps that would fall off as you put the bike in.
That being said, mounting the bike was easier on the other stand. You lifted the bike and moved it into place laterally. Then simply flip the locking lever. Also, mounting sideways is a little easier for my ebike which requires me to use a cross bar.
This one, you have to lift the bike up and over the clamp and then lower it down and adjust the clamp.
The difference seems to be that the locking lever style is good for working on the same bike over and over again. While this one is easier to go through different styles of bikes.
And lastly, this one cost two to three times as much as my old stand, depending where it is purchased. For me, the price is justified in the way that it really addresses the major shortfalls of the other stand. That being said, the other stand came with a tool tray and a handlebar holder.

The Feedback Sports Pro Mechanic Bike Repair Stand is an amazing stand with the upmost quality, extremely sturdy and highly adjustable. What immediately stands outis the ratcheting action seatpost clamp that comes with a spinner knob, it make it quick and easy to put my bike up (even with a single hand available). The adjustable head is an added advantage as it allows customization of the bike’s position which I found very useful while taking apart my integrated stem. A nice surprise was that it arrived fully assembled, ready for use.
In my experience, the stand’s quality, sturdiness, and adjustability are unmatched (well, except maybe Park Tools). Comparing it to my previous, less expensive stand, there’s simply no contest. The Pro Mechanic Bike Repair Stand excels in stability and doesn’t tilt under pressure whereas my previous stand nearly fell over.
The only downside is that I wish they provided a manual detailing specific adjustments, however, you can find videos as well as diagrams and support on their website which will provide everything you need.
To sum it up, I can’t recommend the Feedback Sports Pro Mechanic Bike Repair Stand enough. Whether you’re an avid cyclist or a professional bike mechanic, this stand is a must-have. It is truly a blend of functionality, design, and innovation. Highly recommended!

I’m no cycling pro, but I’d like to keep all the bikes in the family in a tiptop shape. Working on the bikes and cleaning them feels like therapy to me… My previous bike holder was a 2-legged version with a lot of plastic pieces. It worked fine, but it wasn’t the most stable out there. This Feedback repair stand is a great upgrade in my case. It has some heft to it, and the 3 legs make it insanely stable. I could mount the bikes of different models and sizes in almost any angle and orientation I like. Since there’s no movement when the bikes are on the stand, they’re well protected. If you’re in the market for a bike repair stand, give this one a try!
