A premium water bottle that doesn’t leak like cheap ones and has good flow from the valve. This is a more durable version of the Elite Fly which used by pros

Wanted to like this bottle. It has high capacity and is light but what’s the point if you can’t get your liquids out. This bottle opening has a VERY poor nipple design and does not stay open when you open it. Other reviews mention the same thing. Give this one a miss

Only bottles I’ve found that actually survive dishwasher so far

Love that these hold tons of water but it leaks at lid when drinking. I have to put plumber tape on top of bottle. Can’t change lid with other brands due to different taper type. Also biggest complaint is that the nipple doesn’t stay up after drinking and thus you have to hold it up with your teeth and press it closed. Total pain especially on gravel. Would
Love to see these things addressed in newer versions!

If you’re looking for the largest bike water bottle that will fit in a standard bottle cage, the choice is these 950ml Elite bottles or the 1-litre Zefal Magnums. I preferred the look of these in black. The valve is wide and easy to use. On the non-transparent black version there is a narrow window with measurement markings (the markings are only on the bottom half) so you can see how much water is left. The plastic is soft and squeezable which makes it easy to squirt the contents out quickly and to push the bottle into a tight cage. The flip-side is that it’s less hard-wearing, which means it can get scuffed or scratched fairly easily.

I would only use these for cycling and they’ve proven ideal for that. The valve is designed to pop-off if the bottle is squashed, so I wouldn’t trust them not to leak if stored in a gym bag or similar.

This won’t leak, which is great. Unfortunately it is so air tight that you have to use your teeth to hold the cap open because there’s no air flow back into the bottle to replace the volume that leaves. This sucks the cap back shut if you’re not careful and you have to relearn how to drink.

    Everything else is great.

impossible to drink from because it doesn’t stay open. have to squirt it into your mouth because if you touch it to your lips it closes. awful product.

  8. CLAY M GLAD

I had been using Zefal Magnum bottles, they hold 970 liters, close enouhg. But when full they slightly leaked, and when using any drink other than water, this resulted in a sticky bottle, and a sticky frame. So I upgraded to the Elite 950 Ml bottles. Easier to open/close, and no leaks.

I also got a 500 ml Elite bottle for shorter rides..

Good price, work well, happy cyclist!

These are horrible! All they do is leak all over my bottom bracket, cranks etc. do not purchase these.

The caps would not stay open when you are trying to drink. Very frustrating and will not buy again.

Also absoulte Empfehlung.
