I had an airtag in my small bike bag, but that could have been easily found and removed by anyone that bothered to look.
Having the airtag hidden in the bottle carrier is a great idea!
I am not sure how well the bottle holder will hold up to cold temps. since it is made of ABS composite and plastic material. I fear it may become brittle and loose it’s ability to be flexible over time.
It holds my water bottle well, tight enough that it doesn’t become loose on bumpy roads but easy enough to use while riding.
I like that it comes with special Torx screws that require a special tool to remove ensuring even more security. Just remember to keep the torx driver so that the holder can be removed if the need arises.
The package contains no instructions, just pictures on the box.
It was very difficult for me to get the silicone protector over my AirTag, I almost gave up on it.
After assembly and attachment, I noticed that there was a gap in the AirTag compartment. I have included a picture with the gap. Because of this I have deducted a star.
It’s a great innovation but IMHO the price is a bit high.

This bottle holder worked out well for me. My bike presents a bit of a challenge in that the suspension moves forward as it is compressed and must go under your drink bottle. This holder holds the bottle high enough to achieve this at the necessary cost of the bottle being close to the upper frame rail. I couldn’t use a wire holder because the holder has to spread in order to get your bottle in and out with so little clearance above the bottle. I originally thought this one may be brittle since it seemed very stiff but after a few weeks of using it I am no longer concerned about it. I must distort the ‘wings’ a good bit to load and unload bottles and have had zero problems. This holds them firmly. The air tag fit nicely also. The manufacturer supplied a silicone sheathe for the air tag and also two foam pads of different thicknesses to make sure the air tag was secure. I didn’t have to use either pad, just the sheathe. I was only able to use one of the tamper resistant screws because of the length but one should be enough to confound a thief for a bit. I hope I never need to use this but it’s nice to have the extra security.

This water bottle holder fits my airtag perfectly and very discretely. No one can tell there is an Airtag contained in it which makes it a perfect way to track the bike. No issues putting a standard bike water bottle into the holder either.

In the spirit of full transparency, I received this “DDJ Airtag Bike Water Bottle Holder, Waterproof AirTag Bike Mount Hidden GPS Tracker Anti-Theft, Bicycle Bottle Cages with Safety Screw Tool, Universal Bike Drink Cup Holder for Road Mountain Bikes” as part of the Amazon Vine Program. Prior to writing this review, I did not read any reviews previously posted about this item and made the evaluation based purely on my own opinion.
My grandson’s new hybrid Schwinn bicycle came complete with a location to mount a water bottle holder including the screws. But, no bottle holder was included. Besides not having a water bottle holder, his new bicycle was rather expensive. So, when I saw the DDJ AirTag Bike Water Bottle Holder, I thought how conveniently I could solve two issues with one purchase.
Like anything you purchase online, there are concerns about fitting the unit into your project plans without significant modification – which frequently occurs, especially when the mounting measurements where not shown or mentioned in the DDJ product description. But all worries were immediately discarded when I placed it on the holder locations on the bike. It fit perfectly!
The sly AirTag compartment under the holder is an excellent idea and a clear departure from an under-seat location where most people place their AirTags. Nothing is infallible, but this idea seems to be a bit outside the box when it comes to keeping AirTags out of sight.
The quality of the DDJ holder appears to be very good at this point. We tried several different diameter bicycle water bottles in the holder with various volumes, and it accommodated them all comfortably. It has good flexibility while maintaining good holding power in spite of being constructed of an ABS composite material.
One aspect of the overall description that did mislead me, and it was certainly an oversight on my part, was that nearly 100% of the pictures and textual content led me to believe an AirTag came with the bottle holder – it did not. Not being familiar with AirTags and their price, I believed the AirTag was included with the holder. There is only one line in the entire lengthy description that mentions that the AirTag is not included. The note is not underlined, boldened, capitalized, italicized or highlighted in any way to bring attention to the fact that the AirTag is not included. Moreover, it’s not mentioned on the box that the holder came in. In my opinion, that’s a fairly sizable omission.
At the bottom, the bottle holder meets the threshold for a solid four stars. I just couldn’t give it five stars due to the lack of a more visible disclosure indicating that the AirTag was not included.

Worked and it fit my bike as shown in the picture attached. Very easy to install and easy to hide an air tag in it as well. It also held my bottle of water on a trail (Bumpy trail) without falling. I highly recommend it..

Un support très discret à la différence de certains autres qui laissent très clairement apercevoir la forme d’un AirTag ou d’un emplacement réservé à y mettre un dispositif de localisation.
Ici le tag est noyé dans la forme du porte gourde et il est quasiment indiscernable sans y prêter une attention particulière.
Je trouve juste que l’emplacement de la gourde aurait pu être un poil plus grand mais la plus part des gourdes standards y rentreront sûrement. Pour les gourdes isotherme cela dépendra des formats et des marques.
En tout cas il remplit pleinement ses fonctions et je recommande ce produit.

I tried this for a while but then ended up going back to my adjustable bottle holder. It holds smaller bottles just fine but when I tried to use my larger one the arms were able to bend out to fit it without breaking, but they lost some grip when they were that wide and couldn’t hold onto the bottle when riding some of the bumpy gravel roads I usually ride.

Pedí este producto ya que recientemente me he hecho una bici y a pesar de intentar tenerla lo más segura posible siempre hay un mínimo riesgo de que la pase algo y quería ponerle un localizador. El producto se trata de un portabidones de plástico que incluye en la parte pegada al cuadro un pequeño compartimento para meter un localizador del tamaño del airtag. Recomiendo el producto, me ha gustado la idea de tener como escondido el localizador ya que pasa muy desapercibido, lo que sí cambiaría es el material del portabidones ya que no soy muy partidario del plástico, con el tiempo suele ceder y más si te metes por zonas con baches o con lluvia que con el tiempo se acaba desgastando más, soy más partidario de un portabidones de hierro o similar, por lo demás la verdad es que es un producto muy útil para tener siempre localizada la bicicleta (en este producto no se incluye el localizador).

This is a well thought out and very discreet AirTag holder which is integrated into to the water bottle holder, I would have like the compartment that holds the AirTag to be a little more moulded to hold the tag in a secure manner, whereas there is a piece of foam which is intended to stop this from rattling around. This bottle holder comes included with security screws and matching hex key to remove which is a nice security feature.
I would say that the plastic is quite hard and cheap feeling which is a shame, this I think lowers the quality feel of this product, and for something that is otherwise well designed asthetically, this is a shame.
