I was on a group ride when a rider hit a row of reflectors in the road. Her stainless bottle flew out of its cage and landed in front of my wheel. I have no idea how this did not cause a crash but it was very lucky.

I got these insulated bottles for long bike rides. The larger size falls out of my bicycles water bottle cages so make sure you test them out first. But, they do keep the drinks ice cold.
