The tools matched the pictures and each has it’s own zip-loc bag. The chain breaker easily pushed the pin out of the chain. The chain checker correctly indicates wear if you engage the 2 tooth end first, then try to slide the long tang in. If it goes in all the way, replace the chain. I haven’t needed the chain plier yet, but it does fit a single speed chain okay and feels of decent quality.

I mainly needed a new chain gauge so I bought this combo pack. The pliers are good addition for separating and seating a quick link. The chain breaker works well but I’m not a fan of it. I don’t like the anvil and I think the driving pin is just a hair big.

Great tools- well made. However, in my opinion, the included chair wear gauge is applicable to older or cheaper bikes (up to 9 speeds). Most new bikes are now 10-12 speed, but many lower speed bikes are still in use. Allowable wear is 0.75% for the 9 speed (or fewer) and 0.5% for the 10-12 speed newer stuff. This gauge measures 0.75 and 1%.

I read so many reviews on Amazon and other places about which inexpensive chain breaker to buy and I was left completely confused and uncertain. But I needed the chain breaker so I took a chance with these tools and I have no regrets. All 3 tools are well made and are better quality than an average tool you’d get from Harbor Freight. I used the chain breaker on an old Regina chain and it worked great. Then I was installing a Campagnolo 10 speed chain which requires a specific $140 Campy tool. But I thought I’d try the Qkurt and see. Well, it worked great, both to remove the Campy’s standard link so I could shorten the chain and also to install the special Campy pin. There was no sign of stress or flexing and even the plastic on the handle is comfortable. The added chain stretcher made things much easier and it also has an extra pin. I didn’t need the Missing Link pliers as I used the Campy pin as just explained but they are well made, durable and well aligned so I suspect they would work well also. And the chain length checker is just a piece of metal so as long as the measurement is accurate, it’ll work. It said both my chains were within spec which makes sense as one was new and the other hasn’t been ridden much.
If you decide on these tools, you will be happy and they seem to up to providing many years of use. Thanks, Mr. Qkurt, you make some fine bike tools! (Gotta love the name too!)

I’ve only used the chain tool so far to shorten an 11spd chain but it’s worked flawlessly and even comes with a chain holder wire that stores conveniently on the tool. Quick link pliers look like decent quality too and the chain length measurer is a nice extra. Unless you’re a professional bike mechanic there’s likely no reason to spend more money on these tools. Absolutely recommended.

My family didn’t have the $$ to buy new bikes for the kids so I got some used ones at a garage sale that needed a little TLC. The bike chains were rusted and so I had to get a tool (I tried DIY ideas to no-avail as these chains were super rusted). This set was perfect. I sprayed some WD-40 on the chain section that I needed to unhinge and this worked like a charm. It feels sturdy too and not cheap and/or as breakable as others have stated.

These tools came very handy to replace two different chains on different bikes. Although I had read on others reviews that the pliers would bend with too much pressure I felt they were solid and successfully and easily removed a very rusty chain link with it. The other one I used to remove a basic chain on my kids bike and was just as easy. I only wished I had these before I moved other unnecessary things on my bike.
