Packaging:
Packaging was fine. The mat comes rolled up pretty tight and due to the nature of this item there really is no risk of shipping damage. It would literally have to be punctured with something sharp to cause damage.
Material Quality:
The material is NBR a type of synthetic rubber. It does not put off any strong odors and seems to be pretty robust. It is very cushiony and lays flat despite being rolled tightly for shipping. I think it took a little time for the inner edge of the roll to fully lay flat but not much.
Assembly/Build Quality:
The mat is basically a large rectangle with slightly rounded corners and is about a ¼ inch thick.
Marketing Material:
The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) represent the product well. There is no misrepresenting here and everything is as it looks in the picture. Sadly though, every single image with exercise equipment on top of this mat is photoshopped. This makes it hard for you to visualize exactly how big it is. It is also sad that the manufacturer couldn’t get any actual images of their mat in use. This is lazy marketing, and as anyone who has ready my reviews before knows, I just don’t like it. It cheapens an otherwise decent product.
Functionality:
The mat functions stellarly. It lays there like a champ. Seriously, it really has one main function and that is to sit between the floor and whatever is put on it. It also resists deformation, though I don’t know how well it will recover from having a heavy piece of equipment on it for long periods of time, but that’s really any mat to be honest.
Price:
This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $32.79 sale price ($40.99 actual). This price is in line with other similar products and I don’t really have an issue with it. The sale price is really good but even the regular price ain’t bad.

I like that it lays flat even after being rolled up tightly for shipping. I have rugs that I have bought well over a year ago that the corners still curl up a bit. So the fact that this guy lays flat right away is nice.
Dislikes:
No real dislikes for me. it’s a pretty simple and straight forward product.
Overall:
I would definitely recommend this item if you are looking for a large and robust exercise mat. It is great for putting equipment on but also can be used just as a ground mat for yourself. It rolls up fairly small and with a strap or elastic band you can secure it and take it on the go. Price is good but sale price is great. Grab it while it is on sale.

There’s really nothing bad I can say about this mat. The thickness is decent, the quality appears to be good (although I’ve not used it for more than 2 months) and it does damper most of the sound when I walk/run on my treadmills.
Be aware that when I received mine, it was rolled up and sealed in shrink wrap. Therefore, once you remove the mat, you will need to reverse-roll it for it to lay, partly, flat. Or, whatever you are using this mat for, it will need to be longer, heavy, and with a flat surface. For mine, after about 2 1/2 weeks, it became flat.
For those reading this, I rarely give 5 stars. 3 stars from me is a good rating.
