  • FIT SYSTEM – Auto Loc 2 Fit System (removable) is a durable self-adjusting fit system designed to take the hassle out of fitting a helmet. A supple elastic fit band at the back of the helmet merges with fixed-position straps, which adjust to cradle your head when you set the system to one of the 3 different circumference settings. The new On-the-fly Vertical Tuning feature helps to dial in your fit and goggle set up without removing your helmet.
  • VENTILATION – Stack Vent in the front of the helmet which aligns with your goggles and helps to keep them clear and fog free. The Super Cool Vents on the top of the helmet allows the hot air to escape.

    I love the color of this helmet and that it came with googles for a reasonable price. It’s adjustable but not by a dial. Instead there are little “snaps” within the helmet by the ear flaps. The helmet is also listed on an outside source as a quality low budget ski helmet. However, I had to return it because it was too small. I measured my head and it was a little bit smaller than 58 cm, which should fit into the range of a medium; but it was just too tight on my forehead- even after adjusting to the largest setting. I will saw that I did order a large and it fits much better and will allow for a hat if need be.

    I’ve been out of snowboarding for over a decade now and decided I finally need to get back on the slopes. I had to buy all new gear. I’ve gone 2 times now this season, and living in NY there hasn’t been any real snowfall, so all the mountains are super packed down and icy. I took a backwards fall (the worst) on my snowboard at about 10 miles an hour and slammed my head into the ground. This helmet protected me from knocking out and suffering a concussion or something far worse. I don’t understand how people go without helmets especially with such icy conditions. Besides the protection, this helmet is very comfortable and lightweight.

    When I first got this, it was too tight and gave me a headache to wear. I just wanted to make a note here that it’s adjustable in two different ways so other people don’t get annoyed by this helmet like I did:

    1. You can adjust how tight it is around your head by pulling out tabs near where the strap connects to the sides of the helmet and then re-attaching them in the position you want
    2. You can adjust how high the helmet sits on your forehead by pushing and pulling on the plastic parts at the back of the helmet

    Once I did that, it’s very comfortable.
