TLDR; I’ve been using this helmet for a few years now and it’s a good budget helmet. LED is not very useful, but I really love the visor! It recently saved me in a crash and I’ll be buying another one.

    Features:

    VISOR
This is by far my favorite feature, that I’ll spend most of my time writing about. It seems to be mostly a feature in budget helmets, but I wish more helmet manufacturers would adopt this option. I personally love the visor/shield because it doesn’t fog up as easily as glasses in colder weather or get affected by sweat on my face, yet still keeps the wind and debris out of my eyes. It comes with a tinted visor, but I also purchased an additional clear visor for night/evening riding. There is also a yellow visor option. It attaches pretty securely via magnets and because they are magnetic, it allows me to stack visors in case I want to bring more than one. This allows me an easy way to bring along the tinted as well as the clear visor when my rides start in daylight but end at night. When I take two visors, I only orient one down and the other visor up, so I still only have one visor in front of my eyes, but that’s just my preference. However, the biggest reason I love the visor is after a recent crash that sent me flying to the pavement where THE VISOR MANAGED TO PROTECT MY EYES AND FACE FROM SIGNIFICANT INJURY. I still suffered some impact and abrasions, but that is miniscule compared to the damage I would have sustained if the visor were not in the way.

The visors sometimes do scratch up (not just from crashes), but replacements are reasonably cheap and I have ordered several over the years. I’ve seen some fancier helmets with fancier visors, but as a result, the replacement visors were also pretty expensive.

    LED Light
The rear LED lights seems like a great idea, but on my helmet, it would pop out too easily. It is only held in by friction. If lighting is an important helmet feature, I would look at other helmets.

    Comfort
The helmet is well-vented and comfortable riding year-round in Southern California. If it gets chillier, I use a riding cap underneath, but climates here don’t get as cold as other locales. The helmet contains a removable mesh liner with padding that is attached to the shell via velcro stickers. The mesh can be removed for cleaning, but be gentle when washing, as the materials eventually all fell apart on me. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a replacement, so ended up buying after-market velcro pads as a substitute. The velcro stickers also come off sometimes, but those can be replaced pretty easily. The helmet fit can be adjusted via a wheel in the back.

Overall, aside from the visor, this is a pretty good basic helmet. A MIPS option would be nice, but I don’t expect this feature in a helmet in this price range.

I’m returning to cycling after a number of years. I bought this helmet to cover the basics while I intended to shop for long term gear. After years of buying $50+ brand name helmets, I am utterly surprised by the value, quality, and CE safety rating of this product.
I have a large head (60cm) and was a bit worried that it wouldn’t fit when I first put on the helmet. After a few quick adjustments with the harness ratchet wheel and earloop buckles, this helmet sits with a custom-like fit.
The visor is optically clear and is secured to the helmet with strong integrated magnets, assuring that it will stay in position at speed. The visor can be stowed out of the way by inverting it and securing to the same magnetic dock.
I purchased the titanium color and the graphics on the plastic shell are crisp and attractive. There are a couple spots that have minor bumps from the underlying adhesive & foam but it is only noticeable from close up. This is also the only quality flaw that I found with the helmet with all other features exceeding my expectations.
The helmet padding is mounted to a removable webbing net, adding simplicity to the internal design. In my prior experience, the pads were attached to the helmet individually.
The chin strap features a removable, padded microfiber cover which is an upgrade from my last Giro where I would get chin rash with a snug harness.
The helmet comes with an integrated rear safety light with can be removed by a velcro connection.
Adding to the complete package, a Tyvek storage bag and spare light battery are are included with your purchase. Amazing!

I purchased and used this helmet system on my first 100 mile ride. It was comfortable, lightweight and well fitted due to the adjustable insert. I wear RX glasses and they fit easily with this helmet and visor. The rear light worked perfectly and increased my visibility to riders behind me. The removable visor worked way better than expected. When not in use, it worked well as a wind deflector when placed on the helmet upside down.

Took a while to figure out the adjustment straps. Would give it four stars if it had real webbing type straps rather than the thin filament type that they are using. They are wide enough, but too thin for my liking.
Really important to undo the chin wrap and do the adjustment from that point. Otherwise you are going to have your ears covered by the ‘Y’ crossing of the straps as they come from the helmet down. That is the most uncomfortable feeling, not to mention the wind noise that you’re going to hear.
Once you get the straps correct you will have a good fitting helmet.
The light on the back of the helmet is questionable. Since my head is pretty much downward when I’m riding I don’t think the visibility of the light is that good from the back. I certainly would not use that rear light as my only one. The best one is the one that bolts onto the bike.

I really like this helmet. It adjusts easily and has a very bright rear light. The detachable goggles are a nice touch for those days when sunglasses are not needed. The helmet even came with an extra battery for the built-in tail light. The color is bright, the design sleek and the price was very reasonable. Would buy again should the need arise.
