Long story short my son was taking his BMX bike apart to fit in a suitcase. Parts went missing etc.
This was perfect for Southwest airlines. He only had to take off the front wheel and turn the handle bars to be flat. It was approved by thr airline.
*he also took his petals off so they didn’t get damaged from heavy suitcases.
It came back in great condition.
The back is heavy canvas. Not thin. If I can figure out how to fold it. It has a bag it fits in.
Perfect. It worked great will reuse.

Nice, super big zipper bag that I use when traveling to keep my zero gravity chair clean during transportation.

Bought this for our son’s trip to Japan. It worked perfectly and compact for when not needed. Lightweight.

The only reason i don’t give it a full 5 stars is that the handle ripped off the second i pulled it out of the car at the airport. all the stitches came off, (imagine laughter thats what i get for a $35 bag) it was only the second time moving the bag. I was a little disappointed by that but to be honest the bike made it there and back safely. I have a $700 evoc bag and use that regularly but this was the first time i had to fly with 2 bikes. I put hers on a small dolly and took that with me on carry on attached to my luggage with the bungee that i used to hold the bag to the dolly on.

If you fly delta or Alaska they only charge you a normal bag check fee ($30) so basically if you fly with your bike and don’t have a fancy bag this will work. I packed my wife’s carbon rocky mountain, its a nice bike as pictured and it had no issues going to and from a destination.

This bag was rad because i had no issues making the 50lb weight requirement, with my evoc I always have to take a few parts off and put them in my carry on. this bag i had extra weight so i put in a tailgate pad and some shoes and still had weight to spare. I may just buy another one next time i have to fly her bike so it will be fresh for the trip but its really in fine shape to use a few more times other than the handle which was irrelevant when i put it on the dolly and secured it with a bungee.

It did the job but for just one trip, not good enough

I used this for one trip interstate and it has holes in it and a ripped seam. It is no longer useable. Cheap trash. If I could give a 0 I would.

This one is lighter, but the zippers are light and cheap, the fabric thin and week. Better choices out there for less.

I had my first ironman overseas…. this bag was quite durable and sturdy… however in ref to the bike I wouldn’t use it if it’s not a short commute. I ligned the bag with cardboard as it was last minute. however for those kind of commutes I wouldn’t recommend it, also if you have an expensive bike. It’s def good for maybe train or public transportation travel though.
