I ordered two pair of these eventually–one for me, and one for my 11-year-old son. My son loves his winter bike gloves, but in Texas in July, it’s so hot that he finally had to admit that his hands were getting too sweaty. Likewise, I wanted to switch from the typical short-finger road gloves to long-finger gloves because I’d read that long-finger gloves give much better protection in crashes, and many crit racers use them for that reason. These gloves are among very few long-fingered summer road gloves from a reputable company. When they arrived, in my case and my son’s they were VERY SMALL for the stated size, and we both had to return them for one size up. I ordered a small for my son. He had previously always worn a children’s large, and no adult size would fit him. I thought, now that he’s 11, perhaps he could wear an adult small, but these turned out to be too tight for him (and his hands are still very small). Likewise, I normally wear an XL, and can squeeze into a large for short-finger gloves. In these gloves, I could squeeze into an XL but they were rather uncomfortable. I sent them back and got a XXL, which fit perfectly. I would also like to mention that when my son’s gloves arrived, one of them already had long, loose threads and were starting to unravel. The pads in both gloves are not really very good (I didn’t detect much real shock absorbance and there’s no discernible “gel”), but are better than a plain unpadded palm. All in all, they’re OK (the padding is not great, but you get what you pay for), and they run quite small–that’s the bottom line.

These are good gloves for general MTB use. Really good padding on the palm but does not interfere with ride experience.
Only niggle is there is very little protection on back of hand / knuckle.

Los guantes vienen un poco más reducidos, pedí talla “M” y me quedaron algo apretados. De todo lo de más está bastante bien.

The gloves are pretty sturdy. Im a wheelchair user and I got these because all the gloves I’ve gotten prior were cheap and wearing through really quickly. After a day I could feel my past gloves heating up and stuff and I don’t even use my chair all that often. I immediately noticed a different with these. I’ve gone up and down hills and all over since I got them and no heat. They work great!! Obviously they will wear down over time, they’re not impervious, but there is an absolute difference in quality between these and the gloves I was getting.

These have become my go-to gloves. After years of riding with fingerless gloves, I bought these mostly for chilly mornings when my fingers were going numb. After using them, though, I found that I like them better than the fingerless gloves I’ve been using. The gel padding is comfortable, and while I haven’t crashed in them, they appear to be durable and abrasion resistant enough to do a good job protecting my hands.

The gloves fit great with a lot of padding on the palm. The touch screen capability is poor. If that is important for you I would pass on these.

I have worn these on several rides.
They appear to include no animal products (vegan).
They kept my hands warm in 45F / 8C weather.
They seem breathable. I expect to use them in warm weather too, but have not done so yet.
Good grip.
Good vibration isolation from the gel.
My hands didn’t get sweaty.
The touch screen compatibility is OK, but I wish for more.
I’m sure they are made of petrochemical products.
I haven’t worn them enough to comment on durability.
I had to look through quite a few gloves to find these and am happy with my purchase.
Follow-up after three months:
I think these gloves are designed for moderately cold conditions rather than icy cold. There is some nice breathability on the back of the gloves, which is perfect for cool weather, but might be chilly when conditions are colder.
I had a minor product issue emerge. Giro product support was truly excellent and responsive. I would buy Giro again, just on the basis that they stand behind their products. It gives me confidence in them.

Very good gloves. No bulky seams or bumps like some other gloves I have. Seem to breathe about as well as I expected – I got these for spring/fall rides, not summer rides. IF you live somewhere hot, might be too thick for summer.
Appears very well stitched, no lose threads and all seams have plenty of bite. Material feels good quality and is comfortable on the hand.
Very comfortable and good grip when riding road bike, does not slip around on hand when down in drops. Previously happy with Giro gear, this is no exception – like them very much. Only have good things to say about this pair of gloves.

Gloves is used mountain biking and I liked them enough to buy 3 pairs! Even though I’m a woman I tend to buy men’s gloves because they fit my hand better. I normally wear size small in men’s gloves but ordered medium based on the size chart and they’re a perfect fit. Fingers and thumb are long enough, enough padding for me, and a good fit on my hand. They washed up nicely (hang to dry), too.
A few weeks after I received the gloves, he thread on the seam on one of the gloves started to unravel. I contacted the manufacturer, explained I had only worn them twice and they are sending me a new pair! Very pleased overall.
