I had been using a wooden block to put under the front tire, but this works so much better. The tire fits down into it and it doesn’t slide all over like the board. It’s a good height to keep me from feeling like I’m standing on my head.

This is a very basic tire block for use with an indoor trainer. I have been using a piece of 2×6 with 2 1×1’s nailed on to hold the tire. I have discovered that my tire sidewalls are all scraped up. I bought this block to hold the wheel and prevent all the sidewall rubbing.
The tire fits in it well, but the plastic is just really slippery on my floor. Once I added the carpet non-slip piece it stays in place – even during a hard sprint. (I had to use this same non-slip with my home-made board – so no big deal to me).
