This is my first full face helmet and I’ve been riding MTB for 8 months now. I do singletrack but mostly hang out at the jumpline with medium sized jumps. I have not had any hard crashes but took one light tumble and my neck still is stiff after 3 months. I have not tried other helmets and am mostly satisfied with this model.
PROS:
-decent sized cushioning (other brands have thick 1″ cushioning that owners have complained of, which also makes the overall size seem larger.) This model is maybe about 0.5-0.75″ thick. they are easy to take out and wash.
-does not feel heavy, although I don’t have anything else to compare to.
CONS:
-HEAT. even on snow days, I find myself taking off the helmet to breathe after a while. on summer days 70-80F so far, I take it off every few sessions of the jumpline (15-20minutes at a time) to breathe.
-ventilation: this model seems to have less ventilation holes than other popular models.
CONCLUSION:
I wanted a MIPS full-face at an affordable price for my first helmet. This was it. Now that I have experience, I will be in the market for one with more ventilation, MIPS, and the same or less cushioning – yes, I know, at the cost of 2-3x more.
TIP: if you don’t need MIPS, this model looks the same as the Bell Servo at almost half the cost ($60-75), but someone said the Podium might also be lighter and with different internals.
TIP #2: the cheek cushions felt very tight when new. I either got used to it and don’t notice it anymore or they softened/flattened out somehow.
UPDATE May, 2023: I have tried on the lightest models for 2023 and am now deciding between the IXS trigger FF MIPS and Bell Super Air R. They are so light and cool – the Podium feels like a brick on your head and traps heat like an oven, but I may save it as a backup or use on downhill parks since it does seem more like a DH helmet: less ventilation but more protection.

When it comes to safety, it’s not something you want to skimp on. But this helmet offers excellent value for your money. The quality is top-notch, it feels great, and it fits perfectly. The MIPS technology is a must-have for added protection. Plus, it’s breathable with plenty of ventilation, I’ve been riding in 90-degree heat, and it stays cool inside. I’m really impressed with it so far!

Really like how the helmet looks. It felt a bit tight on the cheeks at first but I think it formed to my face a little better after a day of riding. Feels really comfortable now. Slightly heavier than my buddies fox rampage helmet but really hard to notice the difference. One thing worth noting is that on some runs, the helmet would slide down very slightly causing the visor to butt into my view. One time, it went so far that I had to keep my head tilted up slightly to see the track but after that run I raised the visor and this wasnt a problem. My head size was 23 inches and I bought a large with mips. Would buy the same size again as I feel like the xl would rattle on my head a bit, this one feels fairly snug. Overall I am happy with this helmet

We recently got into downhill mountain biking and we knew we wanted some more ‘serious’ gear, so we went searching online for full face helmets. You’re probably like us and cannot afford to spend $200+ on an item like this. We were excited to see something in our price range that looked pretty slick in the product pictures. I am happy to say that these helmets are fantastic.
Purchased an Extra Large for myself and a Medium for my wife. We followed the head sizing guide, measured appropriately and then pulled the trigger on the order.
The helmets fit perfectly on both of us. There’s no pinching or pressure anywhere on our face or head, the visibility is high, the adjustable visor works well, the chin strap has a soft pad, there are many holes for ventilation and it’s easy to remove and put back on.
And I feel the price is right! Don’t forget it has the MIPS protection which is very important. Definitely recommend! I already recommended it to 2 of my friends who are purchasing it soon.
Measure your head according to the suite guide and it should fit well! Cheers!

I ride a motorized bike, I wanted something lightweight and easy to throw on, I wear glasses so the other motorcycle helmet I had was a pain in the rear and super tight against my cheeks so I very time I open my mouth I have to try hard not to bite my cheeks, when I put on my glasses they would move with the helmet rather than my face, so it would make things look awkward, this helmet however, changes everything, it’s super light weight, easy to put on, I have full range of movement, it’s super breathable, and it covers the face, 2 gripes I have is that the visor kind of awkwardly flips up and doesn’t click rather it kind of comes back down cuz it’s just on there, and the other thing is that a drop down visor would be nice at least to cover the eyes because it looks like of silly without shades or goggles, if it had these then it would be the perfect helmet, but it’s enough as it is, good price point with mips too
