Fabric is kind of thin, but zipper works, and the sizing is perfect for “compact” bike frames (that is, with a slightly sloping top tube). Best part are the four straps to tie to frame – two for toptube, and two for seat (down) tube – this last featue is never there for cheaper bags, but this one has it. The velcro straps also are generously long to fit aroun aluminum bike frames (most bikes today) but may be too long for older steel tube frames with smaller diamieter tubing. This bag is somewhat wider than others in its class, meaning it can hold more, but does not interfere with leg motion. I just like a good design that’s well executed.

I wanted somewhere to carry my U-Lock, other than in my back pocket, on a bike with no racks. This fits the need perfectly. I have a mid-sized lock and it barely fits. I put the lock in first, then there’s room for the keys, my wallet and phone (small bar phone, not a giant “smart” phone or I-Thing). There’s not room for the cable that I carry, I just coil it up and carry it on the bars kinda hooked to the stem.
My bike has a sloped top tube and the bag covers the top hole for the seat tube bottle cage. The front edge clears the down tube cage by about a half inch and doesn’t interfere with using grabbing the bottle.
The thickness is not a problem at all. I can’t tell the bag is on the frame while riding and my legs have never even brushed it.
Well made, excess length on the velcro tabs. The bag mounts securely and doesn’t move around at all. I wouldn’t worry about it not fitting on a weird shaped tube bike, I don’t ride this bike in the rain, I can’t offer waterproof opinions.
This is my second Bushwhacker purchase and I am satisfied with both. They are made well and function great. Bushwhacker will be a “go to” search when the need comes for a similar product.

Nice little pack for carrying those extra little items you want to access easily on rides. I used this on RAGBRAI (400+ miles, 7 days) and it came in handy on the 70 mile rides to keep things like glasses wipes, hand cleaner, energy packets, power bars, etc. Yes, it is big enough to carry the larger phones, such as iPhone Plus, but the bag is soft-sided. I suggest you DO NOT CARRY a phone loose in ANY PACK with anything that could bang into the phone. You cannot (and shouldn’t try to) get into the pack while actually pedaling because it’s more or less under your thighs (it connects under and in front of your seat), but it’s easy to get in when stopped without getting off the bike. It DOES NOT have a top zipper – look at the picture and you can see why. The zipper is on the side. This is not a main pack to replace other packs, it’s small and slim (it’s between your legs), so it holds slim extra things More stuff than I expected, mostly convenience items. It can handle a few tools or a tube, but if they are wide you are likely to feel them as you pedal. I even put one of those SMALL inexpensive coiled cable locks in it and it fit fine. Attaches with four wide Velcro straps; they come long and you cut them off to fit your seat post. Has reflective strips and seems well-made and sturdy enough to last a good while. Amazon says it’s polyester rip-stop material, and that sounds right; feels like dense cloth. At $14, this was a bargain, even if I just use it on the long rides.

Just the perfect size for my phone, keys, co2 inflator and a couple rolls of glucose tablets. I wish the angle of the bag where it meets the seat tube and top tube was a little steeper because it doesn’t quite fit my frame right but it works.

This is an amazing bag and the price is great! The quality is great and the price does not reflect that! Its the perfect size for my 17″ frame. It doesnt interfere with my water bottle cage at all. It has more than enough room. On my last ride (i tend to over pack for the “just in case” lol) i had a full set of allen wrenches, tire patch kit, knife, tube, tissues, keys, ID, money, sunglasses, air gage, and a pack of cigarettes & lighter. I STILL had about 2×7 inches of room left at the top! Im not sure i could even fill this up lol
The velcro is super super strong so no worries of it coming off – i leave it on when its on the cars bike rack. The straps are very long so it will fit the fat tubes of newer bikes, as well as my tiny tubes of my specialized hardrock from 1995. The fabric is thin but seems strong and well made. The zipper moves with gliding ease and has a pull string, but it wont open on its own either. The reflective strips are on both sides and reflect very well, very bright! Even with the bag full, it does not lose form and stick out to hit your legs – i was worried about that but it stays in place! I am quite impressed with this little bag! Iv added many photos!

I am a rather short person, so I have a small frame Trek. I was worried that this bag would be to large and interfere with removing my water bottle mounted on the bottom of my frame. I was happily surprised with compact the bag is while providing a decent amount of capacity. I am easily able to store a large wallet, Iphone, folding knife, and keys. The bag remains streamline and my legs do not come anywhere near hitting it.
Material is a tough nylon that seems sturdy for the type of riding I do. Zipper is not YKK, but functions with no hangups. The bag is shipped with generous lengths of Velcro that should allow you to attach it to any bike. I cut about a quarter off of each strap to make attachment easier. The Velcro is of high quality and holds the bag in place very well. Although the straps are great they also pose the only problem. They wrap around the break cable and i wonder that the back and forth movement of the brake cable will eventually cut through the strap. Only time will tell.
I am always concerned when purchasing from a new (to me) company, but am already planning to purchase there mesa trunk bag. Not sure why, but I was under the impression that the product was made in the USA. A tag on the inside says Twain.
For the price it can not be beat.
