This is my first experience with a bike trainer. I am satisfied with it. The assembly was easy and it works great with my Diamondback Serene. Feels sturdy and safe. The resistance is good.

Lots of vibration. I think it’s because of imbalanced parts, but also just be nature of magnetic trainers. Great if you’re in your own home or garage, not so great if you worry about neighbors . Switched to fluid trainer that cost more so presumably better build quality.

Easy enough to assemble! Though, with the exception that I had to google fitting the back wheel into the stand. I did not see a diagram on that, or why I would need the enclosed second part I already have on my bike wheel. I will have to admit the lock/unlock part I did not understand at first, or turning the handles. The one thing it says compatiable use with any road or mountain bike but for my mountain bike it is very LOUD. I won’t be able to use in my apartment at all due to that. Though, I give it a five because of the price, design, it works and is sturdy.

I just love how easy it was to assemble this durable bike trainer stand. They even provided tools for assembly. It also has rubber feet so as not to scratch my hardwood floor. There is also a handlebar mount for the resistance controller to set the eight levels of magnetic resistance. They also include an axle that fits perfectly in the attachment arms that connect to the rear wheel. A front wheel riser block is included to keep your front wheel straight ahead. If you have knobby tires, you will experience higher noise levels. There is only a series of illustrations, without instructions, to guide you on the assembly. It is simple and straightforward as all I had to do was to install the bolt and nut to hold the magnetic resistance assembly in place. Then loosen the axle clamps, lift the bike into position and tighten the axle clamps so that they hold the rear wheel in the center part of the roller assembly of the magnetic resistance assembly. Once you have it securely attached, you can slide the clamp stays close to the axle to lock them in place. Then just turn the adjustment screw on the magnetic resistance assembly until it engages the wheel properly. I am so happy on how well this unit works as I can now watch TV under my ceiling fan to keep cool while exercising.

The setup of this stand was straightforward and was quick to assemble. Great price for what you get. I’m guessing the people complaining about the noise are using extremely knobby mountain bike tires. Mountain bike tires are normally loud when you ride on pavement and you aren’t going to escape those physics. I switched out my rear tire to a street tire and the noise is minimal, less than many stationary bikes, and the resistance adjustment works so much better. This stand is a great buy, is very sturdy, and has been working great for getting me back on my bike during all this hot weather. If you are on the fence like I was, definitely try it.

Set this up and seems very stable and solid – my bike feels very tall now but had no worries getting on and off of it.
Was confused with the instructions and a part that ended up being extra. In the end, it was a rather simple set-up but a video would help a lot.
Still trying to figure out the the right adjustment for the flywheel? (where the tire rests along with the tension since sometimes it doesn’t seem to do much. But I have a 21 speed bike so using that for now. For me I’m happy with it…but had to order a more comfortable bike seat so I can last longer.

This is the first bike trainer I have ever purchased or even used. Given the low price, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I took a chance, and have been very happy with it. Again, I have nothing to compare it to. All I can say is it’s easy to set up and works better than I expected. I use it with a bike that has skinny 700c road tires. It is very stable and smooth. It’s important to set the right amount of tension on the little wheel your tire rides on, and it’s pretty easy to do that. The resistance control works very well. Very glad I made the purchase. Also, it’s easy to remove your bike and fold it up out of the way. I wish the resistance control cable could disconnect from the unit, but no big deal. I’m super happy with it.
