We bought 2 so we could ride inside during the pandemic and stay healthy. Although it is fairly noisy that is the only thing we don’t like Super easy to assemble and attach our bikes to. Love that it came wi to a storage bag and folds up for storage. We would buy it again for sure. It looks nice and easy to move around if needed. If you’re considering purchasing this one don’t let the noise level deter you. Totally worth it!!

This Alpcour stand is very sturdy and works very well for my 700c (27.5″) Schwinn mountain bike. The tensioner mechanism works just fine and adjusts the level of difficulty from 1 to 6. The stand was effortless to set up and start using right out of the box and it folds up nicely to hang in the ‘bike garage’ section of my closet. Very reasonable price compared to similar products, easy to setup, adjust, and use. The noise is comparable to other systems and is dependent on the type of tires you have, the floor material, and how much tension you have on your back tire while you’re pedaling. I’m on padded carpet with mountain bike tires and it’s a very normal/reasonable level of noise and vibration. 30-45 minutes a day on my road bike is very satisfying in the comfort of my own home in front of the big screen!

Best non-electronic item I have ever bought from Amazon (or anywhere for that matter ).
Simple, easy to assemble , easy to operate – and does the job brilliantly.
Yes, you can have all the resistance you want by playing with the pressure on the tire and the “resistance level” control at your handle .
Perfect product.

I bought this trainer because my girlfriend and I live in Texas. During the summers, it’s too hot to be riding during the middle of the day. Plus, with her busy schedule, it can be hard to get motivated and allocate the time. This seemed a perfect way to keep active but not spend a bunch of effort or time. I’ve had the trainer for a few weeks now and really enjoy it so far. Some Pros & Cons below, for your consideration:
Pros:
– Super easy to assemble. All you need to do is thread the bolt and unwind the magnetic resistance cable. Everything else is already put together. Nice and easy.
– The whole kit folds up nicely and barely takes up any space when not in use
– Getting the bike mounted is a little tricky at first (unless you’ve used a similar product before) but is pretty easy once you get used to it. Just remove the rear wheel bolt from your bike and use the one the supplier provides (comes w/ the trainer). Once that’s in there, it’s just a matter of adjusting the width of the clamping mechanism and the height of the resistance wheel
– The magnetic resistance is actually pretty strong; I’m decently fit but really struggle to pedal when I have the resistance dialed all the way
Cons:
– It’s a little louder than I thought it’d be. It’s not deafening. Can you maintain a conversation with someone? Yeah, probably, but they’re probably not going to fall asleep or be on a work call while you’re pedaling. Not a huge issue but worth knowing
– It’s not quite as stable as it could be. Could be that I don’t have my bike mounted properly but when I get out of the saddle to do hill climbs, I actually rock the whole thing. Makes me worried I’m going to fall over. I think the legs of the trainer should be longer and spread wider to keep the whole thing more stable. You can probably put some weights on the legs to help with this. Will give it a try and update this review
– The magnetic resistance setting thingy has a clamping mechanism that is just kind of small. I think the manufacturer thought people would clamp it to the handlebars but it only opens so far and it makes it somewhat hard to find a good spot to clamp the thing. Had to put mine around the drops which is a little annoying. For my girlfriend’s bike, I have to really force the thing to fit on the handlebar and I’m worried I’m going to break it at some point.
Overall, I really like it. A solid piece of equipment and I’m very glad I bought it. Looking forward to putting more miles on it.

Good for my cross training exercise, resistance is great, and adjustment, stability is good I can stand with it when I pumped up, a little heavy but manageable and designed is fine. Budget friendly.
Use quiet times now under 30mins. Delivered box smashed but glad the item is okey.

Got this for my wife’s bike so she could exercise through our winter weather. Straightforward assembly but I’m not sure why I needed to switch her Trek bike skewer for the one provided, nor why I’m supposed to switch them back when she rides on the road. Noise is not unreasonable, especially in comparison to my Schwinn Airdyne. The magnetic resistance allows her to set a comfortable workout level. It’s quite sturdy so she feels secure riding it.
Oct 17,2024 added note: On removing the bike from the stand I had a hard time releasing the stand’s clamp which had formed a “press fit” with the lever nut on the skewer. Finally had to use a pair of Vise-Grip pliers to wrest them apart. Next time I’ll put a scrap of waxed paper between the parts to east the separation.
And I’ve never gotten an explanation of why we need to swap the Alpcour skewer with the one that came with the bike.
