I purchased this bike for my son for his birthday. He researched for months and chose this bike because truly thought it would be good quality and couldn’t wait to start riding all over with his friends! Some might not be as disappointed but I’m not rich and it’s not easy for everyone to invest this kind of money so you expect it to at least not fall apart in the first month! I had it professionally assembled to make sure it was done correct. Within the first month of being able to ride it, once summer started and he wasn’t in school. The pedal broke, we fixed it ourselves, then not 3 days later the brake just fell apart and the same day the chain came off and no matter how many times we put it back it won’t stay on. He’s devastated! When I try to get support, I get the number and website of a Power Tool company. No one can help me replace this lemon of a bicycle! Im really Hoping the company will reach out to me and help my son have a bike that he can actually ride this summer! Imagine seeing the smile on your child when he was thrilled to receive it, only to be completely gutted when it just keeps falling apart. #EliteBMX

Got this for my 12 year old’s birthday. He wanted something he could ride in the dirt and do tricks with, and he loves it. It rides so much better than my cruiser that I bought another one that I can ride with him (I’m 5′ tall) until his brother grows into it. We did have an issue with one of the pedals breaking, but the seller was very responsive and sent out a replacement part right away.

Pros: Bike looks great when assembled, easy to assemble and adjust with no instructions.
Cons: -1 star for the cons. Just throw away the instructions. Everything needs to be adjusted, not difficult just more work than other out of the box bikes. The seat tilts back alot and will ride on a certain area. The pegs are useless throw so those away too. Peg holes are drilled off center and not tapped, they cinch between the frame and axel bolts, not a robust design.

The spike seems to be a good value for the money. It looks great, wasn’t missing any parts and was easy to put together. My grandson said said it rides really smooth and is comfortable. He likes the seat on it. He wanted white and that’s what he got!

We’ve been on the Wal-mart roller coaster of buying bikes for our kids. We would even buy the best they had to offer only to watch something break on them within a month or two. Sure we took them back but there’s the hassle and the nearest store is over 60 miles away. We purchased this bike after some online research and reading quite a few reviews. The bike arrived without any problems, was easy to assemble and the build quality was evident. We’ve had it over a month with quite a bit of off road riding in and so far so good. I will update this post if anything changes but it looks like as got a solid bike that should last a while!

This is a kid’s bike, not a serious BMX bike. I suspected this going in but I figured better to get a $280 bike to see if my son is even into the whole BMX thing vs. spending serious $1300 on a We the People to find out all he wants to do with it is cruise an 1/8 a mile to his podnuh’s house to play Fortnite. It looks amazing and he loves it that’s all that matters to me. Front pegs hit the fork tubes so if you tighten them down, you can see the axle start to bend. One of the Allen screws on the handle bar block is now stripped after one day of riding/ doing wheelies…we couldn’t get the handlebars to stop moving forward and back when riding hard so I ended up overtightening one of the allem screws I assume causing it to strip out. There is a reason you spend minimum $500 on a new BMX bike that you intend on riding hard, especially when you or your kid’s safety is involved. This bike is a great poser bike and definitely looks the part, especially to an 8 year old who just cares about the lime green tires and pot metal pegs hanging off the axles…if you’re like me and just wants to see if your kid is interested in BMX before dropping beaucoup moulla on a setup that only gets used to ride over to thier friends’ house, this is a good choice. It is a good looking bike and definitely looks the part…much better looking than the average bike you see in Walmart so it’s worth the extra $80 for the aesthetic woah (his friends were literally drooling over this thing and my son’s head is now twice the size it was this morning). AGAIN, I WOULD NOT let my kid do any serious BMX work on this bike if anything for the sake of safety…its too heavy and not strong enough imo. Cruising the neighborhood, great…BMX park, nope.

I have to say I was quite nervous when the box came and the bike was in there unassembled. However, surprisingly it was super simple to put together. I do want to add that it is important that you know that you need tools to put it together… aka pliers, Allen wrench, etc. be sure and have at LEAST those two tools or you can forget about assembling the bike. The bike rode very well. I would say the ONLY issue I have is that the tires came flat and it required so many tools. So I had to walk it to the gas station to air them and borrow the tools from the guy installing my new flooring! Overall though it’s a great product and WELL WORTH the 214 dollars. 🙂
