I’m an avid cyclist and I mostly keep my bikes clean with Maguiar’s waterless wash and wax. I am not a fan of spraying my chain and gears with water unless I can get them to dry right away. Spray and wipe cleaners are my go-to for weekly cleaning but after lots of mud I used dish soap. Yes. Dish soap. I used this STA-BIL instead and it’s about the same. I like STA-BIL as a brand and think the concept here is neat but regular dish soap and water does the same job only much much cheaper. Sorry guys. There’s no special magic in there.

I have an Aventon Aventure eBike, which has a glossy finish and matte fenders. I tested this bike wash on that bike. I just rinsed off the bike and sprayed on the cleaner, as instructed. It was pretty simple. I let it sit a few minutes, then rinsed it off and dried the bike.
On the shiny areas, it worked great. There was a real shine, and it was really clean-looking. On the matte, it was clean, but I had streaks that I had to buff out (rubbing harder than I did on the rest). Once I buffed that out, the matte looked fine. I took off a star for that. Overall, this is a good wash to clean up your bike quickly. I think maybe there should be a mention in the label that for matte finishes, buffing is required.

It’s nice, like a shampoo for the bike, easy to use, just rinse the bike and apply this on for a couple minutes then rinse off, wipe it down after to ensure a clean and smooth frame.
Keep in mind if your bike is very dirty, you may need to use a brush to agitate in some places but it can be used on all parts of the bike.
You can even dilute it to your hearts content with water to make it even better or any other chemical you wish to choose.
