It’s been twice I’ve bought a Mammoth Bag for the bikes I own..the first one (all black color bag) my wife ended up taking from me because she loved it so much and it can hold just about anything while we go on bike rides..the one I chose has more of a military color style that I love.. .the main pocket has more pockets inside and one outside ..its made very well and zippers are well placed and bag well built..the straps are easier to manage ..I dont really like taking alot with me while biking but I dont have to worry about it anymore with this bag..and the fact that its weather proof is a super plus to me..can’t wait to see what other colors and versions they come up with next..so if your looking for a good bike bag the Mammoth bag is definitely a smart buy ..I have two now and they are amazing 🙂

the smallest (lower)pocket is a bit too small to be useful; too small for a phone. otherwise a good bag for a light jacket, hat, bottle of water, snack, etc.

Looks and fits my fatbike frame right. Enough space to use my top tube bag and straps secure to the frame. Great pack for the price

Mounted this bag on a Salsa Beargrease Carbon size medium frame. The bag fit the triangle near perfect. The down tube straps were just barely long enough to go around the oversized carbon tube. The pack held 6 freeze-dried meal pouches and the battery for my headlight. The zipper can be finicky when stuffed and the bag is not waterproof, so you have to keep the latter in mind when packing.

Fits Fuji Traverse 17″ (M size) bike perfectly and holds tight. I load it with a bike chain and lock, u-lock and cable which together weigh over 10.5 pounds and the bag can handle it. The bag’s lock works well.
Overall, I really like this bag so far

The description has a little info but not too much. I found a small mesh pocket in the man in compartment that would be good for a phone or multi tool. Otherwise this would be good to hold a spare jacket and gloves, repair items, etc.
The fit I have shown is on an XL Salsa Mukluk where I wanted to be able to use the seat tube bottle cage. I think I’m going to figure out a way to access the bottle cage bolts (three of them) on the downtube to bolt down the bag there, and then strap to the top tube. I think fitting this bag like that would allow it to go on a lot of bikes.
Would have given 5 stars but there was a small kink in the side pocket zipper on delivery. I think that will smooth itself out and all should be good.

I am tantly fighting to open or close this cheap zipper. Bag probably cost $10 bucks to make, how about putting in a zipper that you don’t have to fight with. Put a nice y2k in so customers can open the bag
single handed. This stupid thing keeps getting stuck, and requires me to wrestle with it every single time.

I needed a way to get some of the tool weight out of my back pack, and this is working really well. I can also stuff a bottle of “emergency” energy drinks or gu into it as well. That has already come in handy when I went out in the heat and realized AFTER I got to the trails that I had forgotten to fill my water. Luckily, I had stuck an emergency energy drink in the bag and that saved the day.
Love it.

Installed this on my fatbike and while I had to remove my water bottle cage (not an issue), to install this, I do recommend highly that you put clear film over the areas where the straps will be as over time, the movement will begin to rub on the paint.
1. SUPER easy to install this bag
2. FITS perfectly on my medium frame fat bike (any medium frame will fit perfectly)
I will be using a kerosene to remove the logo, not a fan of the logo and I’ll be getting rid of it
Zippers are YKK but the bag itself is water resistant. I have sprayed it with silicone to keep it mostly water proof and have gotten a few small waterproof bags (ziplock is the secret), to keep my stuff from getting wet as this bag isn’t water proof, it holds the water back in light rain or light puddle crossings but continued spray, it will work it’s way into the interior.
Stitching is very good, didn’t come across any loose threads and double stitching where it’s necessary.
Color (kinda army ish green) isn’t bad as I’m not a fashionista, I just like the minimalism of a frame bag for keys, cell phone, bars, and water…well I use a water pack instead on long rides or put a water bottle in the bag for shorter rides.
I do recommend this for anyone, dollar for dollar way cheaper than any frame bag I’ve come across.
