It’s lightweight and sturdy but these screws that hold the platform in place are not so good.. have to keep tightening them up and the threads stripped out its not from overtighting it either it. It’s just poor quality

It will get the job done but poorly designed. Round center shaft won’t stay level. Phillips head screws to hold it in placed can’t be accessed once installed. Hex head would work better from every angle.

I have been more a more ditching the car and buying groceries on my bike. One things that I could not due was carry heavier items. I do insulated containers that I can place cold store items in but carrying it on a backpack limits much what I can buy. I bought this thinking I can now buy potatoes or a bottle of something and carry it w/o much difficulty.
The Good:
The rack seems to be sturdy enough for the 20lbs weight limit declared although the most I placed on it was just a tad lower than 10lbs
Installation is easy. They supply the tools necessary but I did not use as I have my sets
The things that could be better:
I agree with other reviewers that the ‘adjustable’ in the description is irrelevant. In the picture you can see that any position but the most extended make the rack unusable
While you add more space for carrying things you lose the under the seat space. I my case, I had a bad there (in the pic). My tools, inner tube, gas canister, lock, etc now have to take space on the new bag
There is no way to place a light at the end of it. Make sure the bag you buy can carry a light!
Overall I am keeping it. It is better than what I had before but, it could be better

We recently bought ECOtric electric bikes and they unfortunately stopped manufacturing bike racks. Finding a rack was challenging because of the smaller frame. We took a chance on this one and we are very pleased. We did have to reinforce the screws to make the adjustment tube longer – hubby is handy and easily modified it to meet our needs.

I expected low quality due to cheap price, but this is well below “low”.
No nuts for the bolts and they immediately strip the threading in the holding ring, requiring DIY solutions (ie, new nuts and bolts). Unstable. You’ll be lucky if it stays attached to the bike let alone carry anything heavier than a baseball cap.
Cheap though.

Works great on Jetson Bolt Pro mini ebike. It’s small enough that it doesn’t look stupid on such a tiny ebike, but with the slide-out expansion feature it’s still a very useful sized rack.
