I like that they sent me a black that is a great base paint for my chameleon midnight sunset!

Great price and that was because there’s a big Bondo patch on the top of gas tank. Forced to paint frame but very happy with the frame not so happy with the way it came.

strong frame would be nicer if they sanded the tank with finer grit than 60

Came unfinished. Bare aluminum no clear coat. Other than that very nice.

I kept reading negative comments for a year and I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one myself. What I’ve seen/noticed is that a lot of the negatives I’ve heard and seen is from people not assembling the parts correctly or not having the proper tools. When I received my frame I was very pleased. The welds were very nice and the frame and dropouts were straight and perfectly square. I was able to use a regular pedal and crank setup instead of that ugly wide one and I am thoroughly pleased. I also recommend getting a sealed bearing set for the headset to prevent it from getting loose and having a headache down the line. I am happy there is no leaks or cracks or bends and the frame is much lighter than my previous one. It is a longer frame than a typical 26 inch mens bike and that’s perfect for me being 6,3. All in all I am happy. I did my research for a while before getting into this project. That made this much easier. I was able to build the bike with an avenger 85 motor in just one day. I highly recommend this to anyone who is mechanically savvy.

Before you look away! In the picture that is the frame, I painted it black again as explained why below. It will likely not look exactly like that. Mine is much more flat of a color, it’s much more glossy from factory.
Took a bit of time to get here for me, I would have bought it off of cdh powers instead since it’s cheaper and directly from them. So my complaints are this, paint was a tad bit scuffed here and there. Front part where you installed the headset was slightly bent inwards so it made it difficult to install, not a big deal just use a mallet and grease and force the headset bearing to bend it back to shape but I’ve heard others complain about this. Last complaint, I ordered silver, got black instead. Not a big deal, got a partial refund and just painted it myself. Ended up keeping the black look though, looks nicer.
Other than that the frame itself looks awesome, better than a regular one even if it’s aluminum. But also, you should definitely seal the gas tank!! If not it will rust which can be cleaned but better safe than sorry. Helps prevents leaks from welds as well. It also damages paint extremely easily, one drop and it eats right through, happened to me lol. But that’s something to look into.
