- NEW DESIGN – Tyre Monkey is the revolutionary new bicycle tyre lever designed to make removing and fitting tyres a breeze. Developed to be the fastest and easiest tyre-changing tool on the market.
- INNOVATIVE – Conventional levers are fiddly, frustrating to use, and often very difficult to remove and refit tyres, not to mention the constant risk of hitting your knuckles on the spokes.
- EASY TO USE – Our patent-pending Tyre Monkey allows anyone to remove and refit tyres in no time, with minimal effort. Its geometry keeps your hand at 90 degrees to the wheel to prevent the problem of hitting your hand on spokes while also only requiring one Tyre Monkey tool rather than multiple conventional tyre levers.
- COMPACT – Its compact design means it can easily be kept in a pocket, jersey, or saddle bag without taking up more room than a standard lever. Designed and developed in the UK and manufactured from lightweight, super strong, hard-wearing composite material.
- TRU-TENSION – From lubricants and cleaning products to tools and accessories, Tru-Tension’s innovative designs have helped motorcycle and motorsport enthusiasts across the globe achieve optimum performance with precise chain and belt tension.

It seems to work well. I have a fat tire bike, and basically I can break a tire down with my hands, no tools needed. I know regular skinny tires aren’t that easy.

Small and compact, yet mighty. Works great on road bike tires (700×28) and mtn bike tires (27.5×2.5) it works better than the 5” aluminum spoons I used previously. No regrets.

Holy crap that was easy?! I run Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires because, well, they’re awesome. They’re also a HUGE pain in the arse to put on. They have a wired bead like a car tire. In other words, they don’t stretch like 90% of the bike tires out there. I usually have to jump through all kinds of hoops (lay them in direct sun, use 3 bike levers, clamps, ratchet straps, etc.) to get them on. It usually takes 20-30 minutes per tire. I just did it in 5 minutes!!! The design and sturdiness of the Tyre Monkey is perfect. One edge is used to remove the tire. The other side is designed to install and seat the bead. Flawless! The only problem I have with it. I didn’t get two, so my wife could carry one!

Used this to change my 29×2.4 tubeless MTB tires. It was amazing both getting the old tires off and the new ones on. Still required a little elbow grease with the on but able to get way better leverage making it so much easier. Will be buying extras to carry in my trail packs.
I also purchased the crank bros speedier lever and while not a bad product the tyre monkey was hands down superior.

So I bought this because I recently bought a gravel bike and had a flat on my 700c wheel. I attempted to remove the tire with my pair of muc off tire levers and couldn’t get the tire off the rim. I had to go and find a third lever to make it work. I got my tyre monkey and tried it right away. I was able to remove my tire with the one lever pretty easily and then I was able to install the tire again with just the one lever. This Tyre Monkey is amazing and worth every penny I spent!!!!!!

Before purchase, I watched the corporate video on how to use the product and two YouTube demos/reviews. One reviewer liked and was able to use this product and the other was not.
This was actually and literally more painful to use when trying to put a 700×25 road tire on to a carbon rim. Removing the tire wasn’t that easy (but do-able) with this device. More importantly, the pain point you hit when trying to get a snug fitting modern tire onto a rim is where this device also fails. I did nothing but try to push this device as demonstrated in the videos the same way from multiple angles and with varying amounts of effort.
All I got in return was a very pained and sore palm as the top of the device dug into my hand as it remained in place under the lip of the tire and never did a thing to move the tire to being closer to being seated on the rim.
Really disappointed.

Small, high quality, and perfect for either on the go or in your tool box at home. Also this is a high enough quality for occasional use or professional use.
