I opened up these gloves and was instantly impressed by how ruggedly made they are. Huge palm padding and the finger protection is very good. These are crazy robust, full-fingered riding gloves that will protect your hands from branch strikes or tough falls.

I use these gloves for mountain biking and they are a great combination of protection and comfort. One reviewer complained of the protection across the top of the fingers and suggested that it restricted movement. That review made me hesitate but I purchased it, tried the gloves, and now totally disagree with that review. The armor on top of the gloves doesn’t restrict movement and I definitely like the extra protection. The padding on the palm of the gloves is a perfect thickness and is well placed so that it absorbs shock and protects from falls but doesn’t leave you feeling disconnected from your bike while riding. Better yet, the padding really reduces some numbness in my hands while riding extended downhill runs. These gloves are great and a good value.

All that rubber on the back of the glove is profoundly un-ergonomic. It doesn’t bend properly, and so it squeezes painfully at the knuckles. I sliced off the rubber at those spots and now they’re wearable, but now I’m missing the protection at the most important spot most likely to get hit…
Impressively well-made for the price, but I think this is more of a motorcycle glove and is badly-designed overkill for MTB.

These are brilliant, their a nice and tight fit and super padded, i love how padded they are on the palm side. i use them for my scoote, i fell off the other day at 40mph doh.. and these gloves held up easy, didn’t feel a thing hands wise and there still in excellent condition. Highly recommend

I ordered the US XLarge, as I have large hands (10″ Cir. & 4″ from palm knock to tip middle finger)…all this is based on how to size your gloves. The construction of the gloves was ideal for my riding (MTB) with protection and padding for the fingers and nice thick padding for the palm. Unfortunately, although the gloves went on tight and felt good, after a short period of time my hands started to become numb as they were just too tight. I tried them again the next day hoping they would loosen up, but that was just not the case. Had to return them. Wish they had one size larger, but they don’t so back to the drawing board.
Update: After looking closer, I found that they do make a size larger than US XLarge. It was listed first in the sizing “US 2XL”. So, I ordered it. What a disappointment! It was Not larger than the US XL…actually, it seemed smaller to where I was unable to get into the glove. They went back.

Have not worn these on a ride yet. I will be sure to update when I do. From a Mtn biking perspective these are a hardcore heavyweight single-track glove. The armored front side is thick and will be great protection when going through brush or tight fit taps off of tree branches and such. The frontside armor is quite thick and would definitely handle a good bashing that would otherwise really hurt with non armored gloves. Even the non armored areas on the frontside are very thick. They seem comfortable. No sewing defects. Sizing is funky. They sent me a large pair when I ordered a medium. I get the whole American medium is a Chinese large deal. The packaging seems for English speaking countries though. I really think this is an American large. Which surprisingly fits cuz I am a total medium all the way.
The palm and fingers are ventilated. Although I doubt it will do much. Palm padding is excellent. Very robust and thick. Your whole palm is padded. Will be good for rock gardens, root sections, chatter in general.
I think these gloves will shine in fall/spring/cooler summer days. This is NE Pennsylvania USA temps im talking. They are not ment to be a cold weather glove. These are cooler to warm weather riding gloves. You wear these in 85 to 100°F temps and they will probably be rather wet.
Being the sizing is funky…the size they sent me fits well.
I’ll be sure to update when I wear them on a ride. I’ve been wearing gloves cycling for about 30 years…so I think my opinion is somewhat valid. Haha.

Exceptional value, fit, comfort, protection & style. Used many others so can offer informed comparison. These gloves do everything I need for a very reasonable cost. Typically can get a year’s wear before necessary to replace. Even then gloves remain usable but do have wear through on finger tips. I simply cut down & use as less than full finger. Cell phone use NP w/o removing glove (Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra). Palm padding provides great protection against snapping wrist if unfortunate enough to take flight from skateboard (electric). Can’t recall any brand I’d recommend higher for my purpose. Just don’t expect warmth in cold weather. These aren’t thermal gloves. Many the time I’ve regretted forgetting to insert hand warmers on cold winter rides.

The sizing chart was very accurate, so if you’re like and have large hands, don’t be afraid to go XL. The padding is nice and firm, and reduces sore hands when riding for long times. Very pleased with ROCKBROS products overall!
Edit: Wore these during a severe kick scooter crash that left me with a broken femur and collarbone. My thumbs were rather bruised, but my knuckles and other fingers were well protected.
