I’m a little disappointed that when I pulled my new pair out of the box they had some lens damage. The picture doesn’t do it justice as the small bubble in the lens makes a bend you can see when you put them on. I like the all black and they fit well but just overall quality is mid.

Lens kept popping out but dealt with since I couldn’t get more. Then on day nose guard rips when adjusting width the started to rub nose raw. Sorry was alright but once put to work couldn’t stand how I needed them

I use these for running and biking and they are incredible. Super light and large enough lenses so you get full protection from the sun at just about any angle. Fits well when wearing a helmet or a hat when running and biking. Nice!

The ad copy for these medium-cool shades claims they have UV400 protective coating, blocking 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. This is the single most important aspect of any pair of sunglasses, i.e., you want your eyes absolutely protected from the sun.
Prolonged exposure to UV rays modifies proteins in the eyes. In the long run, this leads leads to cataract formation and deterioration of eyesight. Over time, cataracts make vision blurry, hazy, less colorful. Sun exposure can also result in cancers of the eyelid. These cancers include basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. My brother had such a basal cell carcinoma. The removal by his oculoplastic surgeon was, as you might expect, not fun at all. Removal requires a hypodermic needle with lidocaine inserted into the eyelid. OUCH!
So always always wear full-protection sunglasses in order that you don’t have to endure my brother’s minor agony–or worse. There are such on the market, most claiming, like these ones, to have the maximum UV protection. These ones under review are not the handsomest sunglasses on the market–the frames are grey and rather heavy– but they will do the trick in terms of protection.
