This charger has 3 jobs. Correctly hold the battery, which it did. Charge the battery, which it did. Stop charging the battery when it’s full, this part of the operation is suspect.
The unit charged my battery adequately. However, the charge light never turned to green. I was concerned that my battery would be overcharged. The battery should charge within one hour. I did three 4 hour sessions and the light never turned green. AXS batteries are 7.2 V. A USB port only delivers 5 volts which means these chargers have to use an up converter to increase the voltage thereby decreasing the amperage.
After the 3rd session I checked the battery voltage with my voltmeter and it registered at acceptable 8.1 volts.
I don’t want to risk a shortened battery life because of overcharging so I will return this charger.

I have two AXS equipped bikes. I keep a charger in my basement and in my garage. Well, I wanted to have another one in my travel bag so I always have one with me if I need to charge a battery. This one fit the bill exactly. Except for the off brand logo, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and the SRAM one. It charges the battery quickly and effortlessly like the original SRAM one does. I will probably buy another to keep in my car for emergency use.

I like that this charger has LED indication lighting to communicate when charging is taking place, When the charging unit has power, when the charging is complete, etc..etc.. Yes…you’re correct…the other chargers have lights as well. However, the lighting on this charger is 10x brighter, and has additional lights. Maybe that’s not a big deal to some…but to me it says and communicates a lot with color coded lights. The charger works great! I had no issues whatsoever. I would defiantly recommend giving it a try! (Please note – I didn’t give this a 5-star rating on “longevity” as I just started using it for about a week. I am giving it the benefit of a doubt and rating it at 4…But I will monitor its use. If I have any problems in the first year or two of use, I will update the rating accordingly)

I lost my AXS charger so I bought this off brand one as a replacement. Works perfectly. The light turns green when the battery is full. I’m using the original Sram battery that came with my AXS. I plugged my phone’s fast charge USBC cable into it and works fine.
