My setup: Adult mountain bike on a trainer (bald rear tire cause you don’t want a nubby tire on a trainer) – only rear wheel spins. Installation and setup pretty easy – watch the video if you struggle with understanding the poor English translation of Chinese in the user guide and Amazon webpage. Had no problem with the sensor on the rear tire, picked up a strong signal after a little fiddling with the magnet. Couldn’t get the timer etc. to reset after each trip until I read one of the reviews here that said you have to be stationary to reset. Duh. Only had it a week and so far so good. Will follow-up if things change.

I am very happy with this product. It is a very nice device for the price. and I’m very pleased with the instrument readings. It was easy to install and has been very accurate in its readings. I would buy this again. I recently had a problem with the unit after a battery change. I checked all the trouble shooting suggestions, nothing worked. I contacted Pronus explaining what was wrong. After some trouble shooting tips, the unit still was not responding accurately. Customer service sent me a new unit and now everything is back to normal and happy riding. . I definitely recommend doing business these people you will receive great customer service in them standing behind their product.

Mounts easily, using wire ties and rubber backing. The magnet reader has a small rubber backing you stick on, then wire tie to your wheel supports. This keeps the mag reader from shifting around. Once mounted, the mag reader is adjustable, to allow you to get it close enough to the wheel magnet to work. There is also an activity indicator showing wheel motion, so you know you have things working.
The display unit has a rubber insert that fits inside a mounting hole on the display, and is the full size of the units contact point on the handlebars. When you use the included wire ties the display unit held in place with no movement. The display can be mounted on the center post, or handlebars, I mounted mine on the center post, was simple and quick. The display unit is easy to read while in motion, even the smaller display sections. I am very happy with the device, and would buy it again, after seeing it. It is a very nice device for the price.
Pros:
1. Mounts easily, took about 5 minutes.
2. Easy to read while in motion.
3. Programming was simple.
4. Touch sensor on top of unit for internal light. (Great for dusk to night use)
Cons:
1. The mag reader needs to be within 1 or 2 mm of the magnet, not really a big issue, but it worries me to have them so close. I have had zero issues along this line however, so probably not an issue.
2. Touch sensor on top of unit for internal light. In daylight if you accidentally touch the top of the unit, you turn on the light. If bright sunlight, you can not see the light, so you don’t know it is on. This increases battery drain. They do warn you about this in the instructions.
I lost the manual, and have sent in a request for a replacement to download. I will post the results of that request here.
Overall I really like the product, and it seems to be a solid device. I can press the button while riding, and the unit does not shift around at all, it is very solidly mounted using the included wire ties.
Edit: I wrote the company regarding the lost manual, I got a copy of the manual via email from them within 24 hours.

I bought this to replace a previously purchased computer that stopped working (not getting the signal from the sending unit after 1-2yrs of use). I followed the advertised rear wheel installation (only about 85cm or 65% the advertised allowed distance between the sending unit and computer). I checked that the sending unit and magnet were working with the receiver next to them before fully mounting things, but when my son went for a ride…nothing! Looked at the instructions again and they suggest that the computer back must face the sending unit to work; well how the heck is that supposed to work with one mounted on the rear wheel? So, I moved it to the front wheel and reduced the distance between the units to <50cm (<40% the advertised distance), and it still didn't work after the sending unit was mounted on the handlebars (magnet and sensor were still working when check during mounting of those parts). To conclude that the unit is not even worthy of the one star given (and inability to rate features), I moved the unit from the handlebars slowly closer and closer to the sending unit; viola it works ONLY when the distance between the parts is <30cm (12in). This is useless for even a 20" kids bike, let alone the adult size bikes it is advertised for. Would I recommend this unit? Absolutely NOT; in fact between this and the prior unit that died, I would not recommend any wireless computers/odometers.

This Speedometer/Odometer is a great price for someone that just wants to know how fast they are going and how far they went.
Once installed, the unit worked great, however, the instructions need some work, so I included photos of the finished product. Especially the sensor and spoke magnet proximity. That was not clear in the instructions, so please take a look at the photos.
Please note that the unit DOES NOT come with the screw on mount as shown in the photos. My wife had a basket attachment, so I modified the mount received to screw onto her bike, versus the zip tie mounting provided. I am sure the zip tie mount will work, but this was more permanent and made sense considering her basket bracket was in the way.
Once I figure out the spoke magnet and sensor, this thing works flawlessly. Turns off with inactivity, and starts up with a couple of wheel revolutions.
She likes it, and it does exactly what is needed, plus more. Our main reason for purchase was Speedometer and Odometer, which work great!!
