    For the price, this Magene C506SE Wireless GPS Bike Computer is pretty decent. It connected to all my bike accessories, like cadence & heart rate monitor. The screen data is customizable which is great when I flip between MTB & road riding. It seems more accurate than my Garmin Edge 520 which is nice. It comes with usable mounts for the bike but can also use all my existing Garmin mounts too. Battery life is good (better than my 520).

    I was hoping the navigation would be a step up from my current no navigation, however it is convoluted to use. You need to preplan your route in the provided App and upload it. For me, that does not work because I always make my route up as I go along and changes based on how I feel. Perhaps I am in the minority here, but if you are like me then we need to spring for a better bike computer with preloaded NA maps. If you are fine with set routes, then this is a great option for you (also way cheaper).

    This is a bike computer. The mounting installs on the the handlebar with some rubber orings. Not my favorite mounting method. I kinda wished they had used a standard clamp.

    You install the app. Then you create a user name and password (I didn’t like to have to do this), connect the the bike computer and that’s pretty much it.

    You turn the computer on by holding the power button for a couple of seconds and press the lower right button to start the ride. When the ride is over you hold on the right button for a couple of seconds to end the ride. It works well. The display will automatically black out when it has been inactive for a while. If the ride has ended the power will turn off automatically after a period of time that you can set in the app.

    The app has a lot of features that I won’t go into, but I think any bike enthusiast will be pleased. It only gives you the trip miles. After days weeks or months I would like to know the total miles traveled (like an odometer). This appears to be missing.

    Quality is good, price is ok.

    This is smaller than I expected, but that’s great because it doesn’t take up a lot of room. It was easy to set up. The one thing I wish it had was a touch screen. The buttons are easy to use, but are small and I forget which one does what sometimes.

    Il est très bien emballé et protégé. Dans l’ensemble, seulement d’après les apparences, ça a l’air génial. Pour un ordinateur de vélo de base par rapport aux grands garçons sur le marché, il se mesure bien.

    La taille de l’écran est plus qu’adéquate, l’ordinateur a un certain nombre de solutions de montage comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos.

    Le point que je n’aime pas – vous devez télécharger une application pour l’utiliser et créer un compte (gratuit). Ce n’est pas un dealbreaker absolu, mais si vous utilisez déjà certaines applications de cyclisme/fitness, en avoir une autre à ajouter au mélange pourrait être trop.

    Mais l’application est bonne, fournit tous vos points de fitness et cartes habituels, etc.

    Le manuel d’instructions (11 langues) est simple mais facile à comprendre.

    Dans l’ensemble, il est difficile de ne pas aimer ce petit ordinateur de vélo juste pour le fait qu’il tient tête aux grandes marques de garçons et ne sort pas trop mal sur divers points. Fonctionne parfaitement avec iOS (iPhone/iPad), donc pour moi, il n’y a pas grand-chose à ne pas aimer à ce sujet.

    Ce compteur à une très grosse batterie, on peut le laisser sur le vélo un moment avant de le recharger.

    L’affichage est clair et bien dimensionné.

    Il est compatible ANT+ , les différents capteurs ont été reconnus très rapidement.

    Pour la navigation il n’y a des indications qui indiquent la direction à prendre.

    Il faut la première fois appairer votre téléphone au compteur.

    Les boutons sont bien réactifs. Ça fonctionne très bien.

    Le tout reste très lisible.

    Easy to use wireless bike computer. Although small in size, the color and fonts are bright and bold. Easy to be seen while cruising. The computer paired quickly to the app on my phone. Has all the needed information that you save about your bike ride. Gps gets a little spotty but everything else works perfectly.

    I am very happy with this bike computer. Set up was quick and easy and I was able to pair it with the app on my phone in just a few minutes. Build quality is excellent and it feels very durable, like it will stand up to a lot of use on an off-road. Controls are simple and easy to use. The display is very bright and easy to read. This is a nice upgrade from having my phone mounted to my handlebars.
