    good for medium duty

like holding single simple bottles and riding on “normal” roads 🙂

look for x2 x3 priced ones if you are actually going into the woods and biking.

    but good for average applications

OK..Ushake makes it very clear that you MUST have mounting holes on your bike
to be able to use these. And if you already have mounting holes on your bike
you should absolutely use them. But if you don’t and you don’t want to drill
holes into your bike’s frame, I’m here to tell you that YES you can use zip
ties and/or hose clamps, if you do it right.

Understand that the company doesn’t want people trying an alternative
mounting method, and if it’s not done correctly, go and write a bad review of
the product saying it doesn’t work and it’s a piece of garbage.

I watched a few videos of the zip tie/hose clamp method and decided to give
it a try. I knew the risk that it might not work when I bought them. But I’m
happy to report that it works SUPERBLY! Now, I’m not using these on a
mountain bike for off-roading and rough trails; They’re mounted on a vintage
road bike, used for local travel on paved roads and for bike touring in the
future. However I’m riding in the suburbs where the roads and sidewalks are
VERY bumpy (Seriously…I don’t know where our tax dollars are going but it’s
not for local infrastructure). I have to re-tighten the screws on my rack all
the time, but these water bottle cages don’t budge a millimeter.

I used hose clamps (no zip ties), 1-inch Gorilla tape on the frame (for the
hose clamps to grip on and protect the frame) and a small piece of double-
sided Gorilla tape (weatherproof) on the back of the cage.

As for the quality of the cages, they are very good. If my bottle starts to
feel a little loose in there, I just gently push it in a bit and it’s snug
again. The metal is very sturdy. It even fits my Bubba coffee thermos, so I
can carry water AND my nectar of the gods!

I would absolutely buy these again for another bike – Very happy with my
    purchase 🙂

The cages mounted easily and worked so well that I ordered a second set to replace the worn out plastic ones on my road bike.

These water bottle cages are exactly what you’d expect—simple and functional. They hold the bottles securely and were easy to install on my bike. For the price, they get the job done perfectly. Great value for the money!

Basic metal bottle cage that fits your typical bike water bottle. I couldn’t find anything but flimsy plastic bottle cages in local stores, so I was happy to find this metal one online. My 10yr old easily installed one on his bike himself. Comes with the bolts in case your bike is missing them.

Easy to install & fits perfectly on bike frames but the structure is flimsy. You can squeeze it to adjust its strength of hold on your drink holder but you can feel the material is almost gonna break. I guess only time will tell if these can withstand the routes my family go to in our bike tours. Not a solid fan of this one.

They were easy to install, hard metal good for taking to a trail. Small note: they don’t fit regular plastic water bottles. Also to know, my bike is size frame Large and that Gatorade bottle you see in the photo will not fit in the other holder. Not sure if that’s product specific or just based on the size of the bike. Anyways it’s a good product especially for the price. Gets the job done

It’s a simple design that works as intended, and is lightweight. It fit well on my bike and is as described.

I use this to hold a 17oz. metal water bottle (insulated, thermos-style) while biking around city streets & light gravel trails. Here are my pros & cons:
    Pros:
    1) Aluminum, very light, obviously feels solid
    2) My bottle never fell out while biking
    2) Includes mounting screws & tool
    3) Once mounted properly, the screws have stayed in place despite constant vibrations from the road
    Cons:
    1) Having no insulation of any kind, it constantly rattles with my metal water bottle as I bike along normal road surface imperfections.
    2) It’s aluminum, but doesn’t feel flexible. It feels like it’ll snap if you try to bend it slightly to hold a slimmer water bottle.
    3) It can’t hold a regular 16oz. plastic water bottle (the kind you buy in cases at the grocery). The bottle will slip out through the large front gap between the base & the holding arm above.
Based on these, I’m giving it a fair rating of 3 stars. It does the job of holding my bottle, but the metal-on-metal rattling is what eventually made me remove it. I have since replaced it with a plastic holder.

I’ve used this cage-type holder for 50 years. I like the design and these are well made and fit the standard spacing well. Nicely done.
