The stand is very sturdy. No bending even when fully extended. The joints are all solid, but some of the screws needed to be tightened before the first use, which was easy to do. The knobs work well to loosen joints by hand for adjustment, and the clamp also works well by hand. The joints don’t prevent twisting, which may be a good thing if you need to adjust the angle of the bike, but may be a bad thing if you are working at odd angles.
The final clamp is well padded with rubber, which provides protection to the bike even if it does twist in the clamp, and friction to resist twisting.
Overall a nice bike mount. You will need somewhere permanent to mount it, or get creative and mount it to something removable (like another review did with a 2×4).

I copied Nathan’s idea and mounted the rack to a 2×4 and then fastened it to my workbench with two bolts and wing nuts for quick removal.
I own two bikes weighing 26 and 39 lbs. so this setup is ideal for cleaning and maintenance of my rides. This rack is a great value, easy to assemble, and good quality. I’m a very satisfied customer!

First, a word about how to mount this unit. I struggled with where to put it, since this is a tool I will only use rarely. It didn’t make sense to screw it to my wall or to my workbench.
I ended up simply screwing this mount to a 24-in length of 2×4. I can then clamp the 2×4 to my workbench quickly and easily, use the mount when I need it, and then put the entire thing away when I’m done. Clamping it to a heavier cart or workbench, makes it more than sturdy enough for working on the bike.
I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to buy one of these! The rear derailleur on my bike has been not shifting correctly for some time. Trying to adjust it with the wheels on the ground, or by setting the entire bike upside down it just a pain. I knew one of these racks would make it easier to adjust, but had just dragged my feet on getting one. Now that I have it, I’m kicking myself for having waited so long.
Though this is not an expensive Mount, it’s plenty sturdy. The adjustments are easy to make, and it holds the bike with plenty of force. I started off gripping the top tube of my bike frame, but then realized that the clamp was pinching the shifting cables. Instead, I ended up extending the seat, and then simply gripping the seat post with the mount. This worked fabulously and allowed me to work on the bike and shifting mechanism.
This is a total five stars from me! I’m impressed both with the functionality of the stand, and also with the quality of the build. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again if I needed it.

It’s a little odd that it’s only made to mount to a desktop, not a wall, but I guess it makes sense. The quick releases work good. I decided to put some carbon friction assembly paste on it to make it super solid, but probably not necessary unless you’re trying to put an ebike in the stand or something. The screws and anchors it came with were actually pretty decent as well.

This is an excellent item, it performs exactly as I hoped it would. If you maintain your bicycle yourself, you know that it isn’t the easiest to clean and lubricate the gears and chains, and clean and maintain the wheels and brakes.
I won’t go over all of the features since they are shown in the accurate item description. One spec I didn’t find in the description is the weight capacity, which is 30 kg (66 lbs) according to the user instructions. Assembly was quick and easy, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow, though probably unnecessary. The stand is very sturdy, and holds my bike, which weighs just over 25 lbs, securely. The clamp that holds the bike is adjustable for different size tubes, well-padded, and easy to operate.
Mounting the stand in my workshop was really easy. I didn’t use the mounting screws and anchors that were included, and went with 1/4″ bolts since they will be stronger and worked well for where I mounted the stand. One thing that really impressed me is how well engineered the stand is. It is pretty remarkable how flexible the installation is – whether you mount it on a horizontal surface, or on a vertical surface.
The only cautions I have are these. If you mount the stand so the jaws are hanging down, like I did, you will need to be able to hold your bike in position in the jaws with one hand while you close the jaws with the other, or recruit a helper. The permanent mounting bolts on the connectors were loose and needed to be tightened with a hex wrench. You can see which ones I am referring to in the pics above. Finally, one of the bolts on the jaw was barely screwed together, so I needed to tighten that up.

I bought this as a combination repair stand and wall mount. As a repair stand, it’s pretty useful. I like that you can choose which pieces to assemble in order to have a straight vs a 90-degree arm, and the large knobs make adjusting the length and tightening the clamp a breeze. The clamp can rotate to any direction/angle you need; I would recommend using it on the seat post so that you don’t risk crushing your frame. This concern is also why I decided to use it only as a repair stand and not as a permanent wall rack between rides.
I found the materials to be very strong and am certain this will last indefinitely. My one critique is that I wish the screw holes in the mounting plate were just slightly closer together. This should definitely be mounted to structure, and it’s borderline whether you can hit a 2×4 with all the screws (it’ll hold fine with 2 screws in a 2×4 and 2 in drywall, but I hate messing with wall anchors).
Overall a very good product.
