Tandem Pump Screen Protectors

I just replaced my Tandem pump and purchased these for the new one. I did not have a single chip or crack on the old pump after 5 years so the product provides superior protection! If you read the returns on Tandems sites for cracked screens, it’s a very common problem. Not with one of these in place. I highly recommend every Tandem pump user purchase and use these screen protectors!

It didn’t hold up as long as I wanted it to. It had some scratches. But it was easy to put on.

It comes with an alcohol pad to clean the screen but it was all dried out (deducted a star). Not a big deal, I cleaned the screen with lens cleaner and then used the supplied cleaning cloth. The trick to this screen protector (and for all of these items) is to make sure the screen is absolutely clean — no finger marks, no dust motes, no hair, nothing on the screen at all. Remove the screen protector’s step one film, handle the protector by the edges and carefully place on the Tandem screen. Gently remove the air bubbles with the supplied device and remove the step 2 front protection film. No bubbles, nicely centered, clear. Hope to have many scratch free years (but if not, there is a second one in the package).

The protector is great and went on perfectly. However, just know that tour T-Slim actually comes with a protector already. I didn’t know that before I bought and installed this one. Oops!
