The waste strap doesn’t fit I have a 36” waist. It’s not even close, I cut it off. The bungee cord draw strap broke which actually improve the bags functionality. The only thing it’s good for is the water carrying ability. The bladder is fine didn’t leak and has a push/pull shut off function. I intended to use this on a five day deer hunt and regretted the purchase day one.

The daypack seems to be pretty heavy duty with strong material and good stitching. Heavy material does make the pack kind of stiff with edges not being very soft. Bladder has an adequate capacity, easy enough to fill and insert into the pack. Enough room to squeeze a couple ice packs to help keep water cool and the heavy material seems to pretty well insulate the bladder from direct sunlight.
There is enough storage capacity for an average day trip with multiple pockets to separate you day trip items. Outside bungie netting for layers, shoes, anything wet. Although it does interfere a little with one pocket access. Water hose is a standard bite to drink type and works fine. Carry or hanging strap at the top of the pack.
Receiving the XXL size, the adjustable shoulder straps fit ok, not a very comfortable feel for me against bare skin or a thin shirt. You will need about a 37″ waste or less for the waist strap. I do not fit, but fortunately it’s not a critical strap for my use.
I don’t see anything particularly special or unique. Heavier duty than some and is functional.
