    This was simple enough to use and cleaned fine but don’t expect miracles, if your chain is very grimy it suggests that you use a brush to help the process.

    I was cleaning the chain in the garage because it is the middle of winter, but then I forgot it needs to be rinsed thoroughly and I needed to take it outside for a good rinse.

    This also helped clean the grime around the chain area, looks almost new agin but you will still need to get in to all the areas to wipe them down to remove the grime.

    We have lots of e-bikes and regular bikes and I am happy to find a product that is easy for me to clean the off the grime.

    STA-BIL SPORT Drivetrain Cleaner & Degreaser might be great for gearing and chains on bicycles but it also works well on other gears and chain types. After being run dry we had a chainsaw that needed its chain and bar refreshed to fix and prepare it for later use. With just a few sprays STA-BIL SPORT Drivetrain Cleaner & Degreaser went to work coating the chain and bar which was spun with a towel to exercise. With all excess fluid cleaned up the chain and gear are clean, moving freely, and ready to be lubricated on the next run. Results are fantastic and STA-BIL SPORT Drivetrain Cleaner & Degreaser will be used for many like project involving chains and/or gears. Easy recommend for its purpose or even beyond, a great garage add for the DIY guy for uses of all kinds.

    Similar to other reviewers my bottle also leaks when using it. It is not as strong smelling or as greasy as the major branded (Water Displacement) canned lubricants.

    Had a great leak that wiped out a bunch of tools. Careful with them seals, boys. Haven’t even tried it as a product yet. I’ll update when I use what little bit didn’t leak out

    Good value for your money, no obnoxious smells and is environmentally friendly.
    The versatility of the bottle is good, and it has even better quality degreaser/cleaner inside than most double the cost. And the appearance is nice and compact, easy to store.

    I tried to degrease my chain multiple times with this product and it failed to clean it. I used Muc-off once and it worked perfectly with little effort.

    I bought this item to digressed my bike chain. First, item arrived with leak. When I used it yesterday, the item didn’t even do anything to degrease my bike chain. It’s like spraying water to the chain. I tried a few times even soaking the chain with it but no luck.

    I asked my engineer friend and he said that it looks like degreaser with added water, too much water. And that is why it doesn’t work.

    I seldom review an Amazon item but I felt I wasted my time and energy removing my bike chain to degrease only to find out that the item I bought doesn’t work. Very frustrating. In addition, the cost of this item isn’t minimal to be acceptable that it doesn’t work.

    So, save your money, time and energy. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
