I bought these shoes having never even known that cycling shoes were anything different from regular athletic shoes, but of course then came the clipless pedals. These were the best reviewed of the lower priced cycling shoes so I took a stab, believing that they wouldn’t even fit. But since other reviews stated they ran large, I chose the correct size for my feet(normally between a 9.5 and 10). First off, these shoes fit absolutely perfect, with a little room in the toe which is how I like my shoes to fit. The width was spot on despite seeing how narrow they actually look in person. The comfort for walking was actually great considering how stiff the soles are. Now, since the Shimano pedals I bought came with a pair of cleats, I installed those immediately and began practicing clipping and un clipping on the pedals.
My first ride was uneventful and despite the learning curve in using these, I gained confidence quickly. After my first ride to work, only 2 miles, I decided to wear these all day at work. Now I won’t say these shoes are unbearable, they can be worn even whilst working on your feet, but I carry a second pair of sneakers to be more comfortable at work.
Now yesterday I was finally able to take them out on a long ride(21 miles with 1500 ft. of ascent) and this is where these shoes really shine. Before when I would ride with regular platform pedals and sneakers, my feet would suffer a loss of circulation from the pressure exerted on the pedals. Not so with these shoes. They were completely comfortable throughout and absolutely no loss of circulation in my feet. Goes to show that the designers of these types of shoes really know what they’re doing. I honestly can’t wait to take a 30 mile ride with these and longer. Another bonus are the compliments I’ve gotten wearing these shoes. Sounds cliché but the other reviews are spot on concerning this point. I only wish that these shoes had been a little cheaper, but time will tell if you get what you pay for. I also wish I had bought these shoes earlier because after going clipless on my bike, I’ll never go back to platform pedals.

Match well for a morning meeting offsite and then change into work shoes when I get to the office. Comfortable and look great.

It fits well and works. Feels a bit cheap for the price it’s asking for. The cleats aren’t deep enough in the sole so when i walk, it makes a crunchy sound of metal rubbing cement.

I was in the market for a new pair of SPD shoes as my old Shimano CT30Ms were getting worn out. Casual-looking ones are hard to find. Luckily I found this pair. The EX3s are very comfortable to wear and bike in, and to a lesser extent, to walk in. They work fine as long as you don’t attempt a one-mile walk in them. I’ve been wearing these for a few weeks, and I am a very happy rider. The only reason I give them four stars is the lack of available colours.

A great alternative to use when I don’t want to wear my Sidi shoes on casual rides or running errands. I don’t like switching out my pedals often and wearing flat-soled shoes is awkward when using clipless pedals. These shoes fit the bill – they’re comfortable out of the box, easier to walk around in than studded mtb shoes, and they go perfectly with office and casual wear, making them good for bike commuting or light day-touring. I really like the casual sneaker look and the reflective laces are a nice touch! I purchased them in 45 EU and the fit was perfect (I’m a 10.5 US).

Overall pretty good cycling shoe though a little bulky at the heel and not sure how upper material would fare with a scrape on the pavement. Adequately stiff on the pedal for me.

My previous best bike shoes were old Shimano leather which after many years fell apart. These are even more comfortable (with no break-in) and easy to clip and pedal. I sometimes find myself leaving them on long after biking.

These are fine, well-made and lightweight. I opted for the Shimano GE9 shoe, which is vastly more comfortable, after ordering both and comparing. Sized true. I’d recommend these if your budget doesn’t allow for a higher-tier shoe. There are definitely better, and more COMFORTABLE shoes out there, and you may be surprised because these look so comfy. Give ’em a try. If you want to take a shot, compare them with a $250 shoe and you’ll see there’s a reason why the pricey ones are pricey!

I wear 9.5D regular shoes. My feet were beginning to cramp at the ends. While it took them a month to get these to me, once I got them I was pleased. I was previously wearing SIDI 43 shoes. The SIDI’s began to curl and cramp the end of my foot and toe box a tad narrow for med. THESE SHOES are perfect. They had no 43 size but the 9.5-10 was a 44. They are not too long as I was concerned going up one size. Also the cleat has two sets of mounting holes forward and back, I put screws in the rear swet and the ball of my foot is perfect not too far forward. Very comfortable. The picture and description didn’t seem real clear about laces, I assumed they we tie less as they shoed no lace bow. These are tied, but that’s fine. Also, I don’t agree with the comments that the cleats scrape the floor at the wrong angle, quite recessed on mine. I have had other shoes which did scrape.

Most comfortable bike shoes I’ve ever worn, and that’s probably 20 pairs over 45 years.
