Adjustable chin and head circumference makes this fit most kids sizes! Fits my one year old and seems stable. Straps are smooth.

Was a bit of an adjustment for him to wear, but loves the riding so much he forgets about it. Nice button to tighten and loosen as needed (especially to get it on and off)
Also cute red white and blue design.
-lightweight, open ventilation, and seems durable (hasn’t fallen to worry tho)-

This helmet has been great for my two year old daughter. She loves the polka dots and bow. The adjustment knob in the back makes it so easy to snug up to her head and the chin buckle is pretty easy to adjust. I wish the buckle was designed to protect the chin more from getting pinched with putting on, but if you’re careful, you can still avoid that. The sizing chart was very helpful when trying to decide what size to get, and it fit true to size.
Pros: snug fit, cute design, peace of mind
Cons: be careful when buckling to avoid pinching chin

We use this helmet for our one year old daughter. It was one of the smallest ones we could find on the market, it fit her perfectly. It’s very light weight yet seems good quality. We’ve had no issues so far. The padding is very thick which gives us reassurance. It’s been thrown around the garage a bit and the color is still good. No scratches. Good visibility.

Needed to purchase a helmet for my 22 month old. I wanted to purchase from a reputable brand, so this one stuck out to me. I was most concerned about sizing and durability. The x-small size featured on Amazon fit perfect. When the helmet arrived, the packaging stated this helmet is designed for ages 1-3. This would have been helpful to know. The helmet easily adjusts for the perfect fit. The daughter likes the color (purple with polka dots), straps are easily adjustable and overall checks all safety measures.

Cute, comfy on my lo’s head, and the straps and clip in the back adjust easily. She already ran into our van and had a few bumps while wearing it around the house for fun and so far so good

My almost two year old looks adorable in this helmet! More importantly, I feel confident that this helmet safely protects her precious head. It’s super easy to adjust which is a huge advantage of this particular helmet. I remember growing up and having the hardest time adjusting my own helmet, but this one is so easy to do. I was worried it would be too big for my toddler, but it fits just right and I know it will fit for awhile since both straps are adjustable and also has some adjustability in the back as well. My daughter’s head in on the smaller end for reference.

I want to get an infant out on the back of your bike safety is a priority!! Small heads require small helmets. This is the only one I found on the market that fit an infant and it works perfectly. Purchased for a six month old, she is now 15 months and still wearing it.

Admittedly I was frustrated looking for a helmet that would fit my 2 year old. I did not like the helmets found at local stores due to the ‘elastic back’ feature. Even with the 1+ sizing the helmet could easily shift. I was dissapointed that there is no actual size in the description so here you go.
-SIZING ESTIMATE-
My Daughter is almost 2, her head (circumference) measures almost 19 inches (80th percentile if that helps you with reference). I gambled on this helmet as I had no reference to size and when I was able to put it on her head I can tell you that 19″ is the small size of what this helmet can accommodate. I didn’t have it quite dialed down to the smallest size but when I took it off I was very close to the smallest it could go. I LOVE that it fits securely without being crooked on her head. As for the largest it can go, the dial feature offers more growth than the actual helmet itself. The inside of the helmet measures almost 21″ which will be just above the largest part of the head. My best GUESS would be no larger than 22″ and that will be tight (Most helmets only allow for 1 and a half inch variance, but I have seen up to 2″) The dial feature was a little lower than I would like, but it does not dig into her neck and I am sure as she grows it will be in the right spot for her at 3 years old since it recommends that age anyways.
My suggestion to Schwinn – include actual head measurements with the description. Equestrian riding helmets ALL do and it makes purchasing a helmet less stressful.
On a superficial note – My helmet did not have the yellow tape sealant (it was pink) and I liked it even more. It also does not look giant even though she still can grow into it.
I am more than happy with my purchase!
Hope this helps!
