They seem warm and are in fact everything they are supposed to be .. so why the four instead of a five? The fit ….. they are just not as well fitting as some of the other higher priced options such as Castelli.
Size 9.5 -12 is too ambitious … I wear a 10.5 and they are loose. A 9.5 would find them gigantic. With prior knowledge I might have sized down as well. In any case, fit aside, they are good booties that work!

Cold feet are usually the first thing to end my winter rides… been looking for a solution for a while and these worked surprisingly well, I’m actually pretty impressed. I wear them over some knit summer shoes and now my feet stay warm down to surprisingly low temps.
The coldest ride I did was 24F and my feet were fine, my ears and fingers got cold first. However they probably wouldn’t cut it with summer hoes for a longer ride below freezing.
Amazing for 30-50F temps though, feet stay warm for hours in that weather.
They’re really good at blocking the wind.

I bought the VeloToze XL. They came late, and were in a yellowed plastic package, so maybe they were old stock, but the very first time I put them on – CAREFULLY – they still ripped. I sent them back. I got another pair a couple weeks later, same thing with the yellow package. This one didn’t rip, but the very first time I got back from riding, the front was ripping from only maybe 50 ft of walking. Good grief! After second time, they were ripped so badly I could barely put them on. Ordered these – which seemed too cheap and big and stupid looking to take seriously – but I’ve been completely impressed. First off, they’re nice and thick. Super easy to put on. Definitely not going to rip, and look plenty durable to walk in.
If anything, they’re a tiny bit too big, I got the large, and I’m a size 12 (46) so not many people are going to have much bigger feet than me, so it would be probably better if they had 3 sizes instead of just two. But no matter, it still creates a good seal at the ankle. Velotoze kept the wind and rain out fine, but my feet were still cold riding, even in 40-50 degree weather, and definitely in 20-40. With these, my feet are toasty warm. And still perfectly dry, even in a rainstorm. Love them. Easy to clean. My only real gripe is that the reflective strip is on the inside instead of the outside, where it should be. They did this because it was easier to put it with the zipper, but unless you’re a contortionist, it’s impossible to zip these up on the outside. So the reflective strip is not so visible. But it’s a minor issue. Got these on a lightning sale, but would have certainly paid full price if I had known how good they are. Buy them. The 50g or whatever you save over silicone is not worth it, don’t kid yourself.

Haven’t biked yet but a good fit for size 45.5 Lake shoes with spd-l cleats. Looks like good quality.

Leider hat der Klettverschluss keine Funktion mehr. Der flauschige Teil ist nach dem Sommer komplett ausgefranst.
Hielt warm, wie angegeben.

I was skeptical about these after reading some of the reviews about exploding zippers and the like. After having put around 200 miles on them in temperatures as low as 28 degrees Fahrenheit, I want offer my thoughts:
First, let’s talk about what these aren’t: They are not premium, fancy overshoes. They are $21. These are budget-minded overshoes to get you through the occasional, local ride. Understanding this, I baby them. I am very, very careful when I put them on and zip up the zippers. I don’t tug on them aggressively. I don’t stretch them and pull at them unnecessarily. So far, given this, they are holding up good.
I don’t find them difficult to get on (I purchased the large size for my US 11.5 size shoes). The bottom leaves plenty of room for your cleat and heel to pass through.
They leave a little to be desired warmth-wise in my cold riding temperatures. I would say after my average ride of around 15 miles, they leave my toes around 50% warmer than they would be without the overshoes. My toes are still cold at the end of the ride, but not numb for 30 minutes (as was the case without the overshoes).

Bought a pair of these overshoes sometime ago and was really impressed with them and as I wore them to death without any issues only positives. I bought a new set thinking they’d be the same quality……..wrong! The zip broke during mid ride, the Velcro strap underneath ripped off whilst undoing all on the first outing and not as waterproof as my original pair. RUBBISH DO NOT BUY!!

I like these shoe covers, but unfortunately they don’t fit.
They’re well made .. but they could be made a bit more rugged..
They’re open from the bottom, but I don’t think it affects their functionality – overall a decent product

To be honest, I did feel a little silly ordering these shoe covers. I am a pleasure biker and a bike commuter, not a pro racer. However, when I bike commute, I wear the same shoes to cycle that I wear the rest of the day at work and I didn’t want to walk around with wet or dirty shoes OR have cold feet riding in the late fall in Minnesota. So I went ahead and got them and I am glad I did. They fit over my regular shoes just fine (my commuter bike does not have clip-in pedals) and they also of course fit over my clip-in shoes when I go out on my road bike. My feet stay warm! On the few occasions I got stuck riding home in the rain, my feet stayed dry. I am very glad I decided to purchase them. Whether you are a racer or a pleasure rider, these will work really well for you.

I was angry at myself for not reeding reviews. That’s truly unlike me. Primarily they are too short, the also do t retain a tightness
